      Nothing sweet about it. They pretend to care until someone dares to be a human. These morons don't understand that without children nobody is alive to buy their products in 20 years.

    Having a role model like Shauna is probably a reason climbers are not going to get extinct in the future. As a woman its inspiring to see her transcend

    So awesome! A complete legend and inspiration to me for a long time now and I'm a lad 😅 she's such as strong person!
    And now that I have my own wee daughter to bring climbing it will be an honour showing Shauna to her as she grows up, an amazing role model to follow and show what can be achieved with the right attitude and positivity no matter the path she chooses in life
    Congrats to Shauna on all achieved💪

    Shauna has always been one of the most inspiring climbers out there. Always cheerful. Always smiling. Always strong beyond anything I can comprehend. This stands true to this date.

    Shauna, more than your climbing abilities it's always been your attitude that I loved. Your smile, your positivity, your seemingly unlimitted amount of energy and the playful way you seem to approach every aspects of your life with. In a way you're like a cat :) Wish you the best for your future.

    Awesome! And also lets talk about fear and hormones. I often talk with other female climbers how they sometimes feal fearless and sometimes are scared one foot off the ground. Girls, keep an eye at your cycle, its natural. Just plan your great sends in the right week, makes such a difference. Ans when you just had a baby your hormones are crazy, so feeling the fear is totally normal, not only because you have a baby to take care of, but because of our physical state with rollercoaster hormones! Be gentle, and climb hard!

    One of my favorite climbing vids, that was so beautiful and felt really authentic. And so badass, sheesh Shawna can throw down! I bet she could do a v15. I wonder if being a comp climber and having to constantly work on your weaknesses has made her better on the rock, cause it seems like she can do a big range of types of climbs

    Please, sponsors, take notes what you miss when you discontinue supporting pregnant women and mothers, or discourage them from having children! This toxic behavior destroys lives and dreams and produces one-dimensional characters.
    I love how athletes now do the long overdue push to normalize having a life while being an athlete, and Shauna Coxsey is a legend as a climbing mother already!

    She’s cool but what a stupid trend to call climbers a v14 or v17 climber!!!! Stop that please everybody climbs for fun if people would just climb for numbers they will never get that far. Its stupid and makes division for no reason. Cos i climbed 7c ish 10 years ago does that make me a 7c climber? Or a 7b+? Noooooooooo i’m a climber who had fun and tried hard i still do but now 6c range am i a 6c climber now? Just a climber………

      I think many athletes would disagree that they climb solely for fun, if fun excludes competing and challenging yourself.
      She also is a "v14 climber" for now. That can change with every new project, if that is a v15. Calling someone a vX climber communicate the wrong idea that we all are forever trapped somewhere on a ladder of "being good at climbing", being ranked for being who we are. Focus on growth instead. Also, ofc growth is not only measured in grades. It can also mean being more positive about yourself or towards others at the wall, just to name one thing.

    • @dennis1802
      @dennis1802 Місяць тому

      @ hi Nils climbing was more about fun and trying hard, wich number that relates to is these days lot more important. But fun fact i used to see loads of good climbers and i’ve seen that average drop by numbers chasers they identity more with a number then the fact climbing is fun and challenging
      I personally feel that the modern gym climbing is less technical but more strenght based. We cared about moves then not the number attached to it.
      Another fun thing about climbing is the ability to freely share ideas we all have our own and thats oke
