I'm surprised. It seems like Daisuke knew what he wanted That Man to be-not just his true identity but his personality and mannerisms-long before it was actually revealed.
I’ll be a dub defender until I die but this delivery is really campy, even for Guilty Gear. It's a fun time, though! Also nice to see Yuri Lowenthal’s Asuka, but I’d say Asuka’s current VA strikes the balance between his awkward yet determined nature perfectly. Though Strive recontextualizes his previous behavior as more of a villainous mask he puts on rather than his actual personality, it's still a bit jarring to hear how utterly condescending he sounds here. (Seems Yuri is quite good at that, considering his later role as Bedman.)
I have not seen a more bullshit boss in my life how does this shitty ass game always find the most unfun way to instantaneously make me want to use my controller wire around my neck bro
Honestly when I played this when I was like 14 this was literally an easy boss none of the bosses in this game were hard which I honestly just blame the change in gameplay.
@@lennyface5314 that has like three tiles of range and is as narrow as a needle. When he throws about ten thousand back at you with screen range gunflame also does no damage if you want to get anywhere you have to land a full combo on one the bullshit drones and if they arent dead the fights even more annoying. Also name one time the game prepared me for this?
@@gunnyisgoodboi4846 I don't remember having any problems with this fight, even in hard, it just comes down to dodging the projectiles (not very hard, you can jump and air dash over a lot of them) and charging tension on the turrets or kill them fast with gunflame (which is way stronger and faster during Dragon Install, made even better here by being free) to land that fat Tyrant Rave on That Man. If you get hit I remember chests appearing on the walls of the arena as the fight went on. There's only one really hard attack, the one where he shoots lasers that divide into more lasers, THAT is bullshit blazing, not gonna argue on that one. Pretty gimmicky bullet hell boss, Raven was a cooler fight lol

"Most evil" oh how times have changed.
Can't wait to do that in strive, I want evryone to feel the steps
Boy do i have good news for you
@@matmil5 I'm excited for Asuka, haven't been hyped for a character since season 1
That Man is finally here
If his matches don't consist of him saying "Feel the steps" and "Make sure to avoid them" then Strive is truly a failure of game design
@@HellRider_ Don't worry this will 100% be a MOD. XD
