In this video I show case, pack up and talk a little about the packraft. I do have a Jon boat, kayak, paddleboard and I still would rather use this any day of the week. This is the ultimate fishing vessel and all it needs is a packraft trolling motor which I am in the works of obtaining one from the only company I have found that makes them which they are based out of China. It weighs 10 lbs and you can take it with you on hikes. This is not a pool floatie but a boat capable of handling category level 3 rapids. This is the best packraft in Aquaglides line as the blackfoot is just too heavy and is not a packraft anymore.

@@2StansFishing they are all made for different niche. This one is for mountains since you can throw it in you backpack
My one critique would be to take off the chest cam n shout it so u can see the boat being rolled up, the audio during that part will turn a lot of ppl away n with the chest cam we really couldn’t see what u were doing. Then during editing u can fast forward through that part , etc . My videos suck n these r the things we r learning to improve. But all in all I enjoyed the vid ! ✌️
@@2StansFishing yeah I had a friend there too to help. But he's horrible at cameraman he had his finger in the frame and I had to edit a lot of stuff out lol. I'll try to improve my reviews quality wise next time, appreciate the feedback a lot.

It's PVC plastic and there's multiple chambers for air and it comes included with a patch repair kit. This craft is rated for category level 3 rapids. Feels safer than my kayak in rough water my kayak will flip this will not.

@@Paul_Kasper Not sure what your budget is but this expedition 85 is primarily best used in mountain streams, ponds and small lakes with minimal wind. I live in a region that fits this niche quite well. However i would look into other units Aquaglide makes one called the blackfoot, NRS makes the Cuda and the Pike. Bote makes one called the Native Aqua which Bote now owns aquaglide. There's one called the Saturn, Theres the Seaeagle packfish7. I Just checked aquaglides website and they are having a MASSIVE 70% off sale and the expedition 85 is going for $250 which is a steal. There is also the wildereness IATAK 110. The market is slowly shifting into these because more people can own these than a traditional kayak. I have a kayak and a john boat but i always always have my packraft with me which is so much better and the fact that it only takes me 5 minutes and under to setup and pack up is key after a long day of fishing on the water. I use to dive in the ocean and I loaded my kayak onto my roof all those years got me burnt out on loading it. Trailer is the key if you are going the kayak route. Especially if you are mounting electronics, trolling motor and spotlock equipment. Oh and my favorite one that is not available in the states is one made from savage gear called the e-rider i almost got that unit instead and i sometimes have regrets but i will most likely be purchasing that one too as that one fits a different niche that one is made for having a regular trolling motor which i would just take off my john boat and install in under 30 seconds and then i would get the spotlock autoboat gps system unit for $650 to add to the trolling motor so it can become a hands free thing of the past, but that one is more along the lines of a mini skiff but still packable into the trunk of a car and still relatively light around 40lbs so no hiking with that one lol. Inflatable may work in northern states but in states where you have alligators & shark that can easily puncture that cheap PVC thats a problem you don't want to deal with. Definitely not the future trend.
Tell that to south florida fishing channel who has a sick inflatable rig. So yeah def a future trend...
