Do you have a recommended list of keys for someone who’s just starting out?

I just started off myself. What I learned you have to wing it in a way . I work in a automotive shop where we have two locations and both locations are different as far as what keys to carry in stock . The one shop I work at we have a lot of domestic vehicles and very few imports. The other location which is only around 15 miles away is mostly European vehicles being a higher end area with a lot retired city workers.
