That's honestly one of the reasons I never bothered getting into the end game of 2, it looks like everyone is running the same builds and weapons. I'd like to run a Jakobs sniper build like I could in the first game.

I love community patch. It makes a lot of things more viable and fun Bonus: thanks to the increased chance, I got a Vermi and tubby spawn at the same time, plus an Infinity from a chest in Caustic Cavern. It was glorious
As a long-time Maya player, I can confirm that the Godfinger is a lot of fun with her post-patch. Trickster builds work well with it, now that you're more likely to get productive extra pellet action on chain reaction. It is always satisfying getting 2 kills with one shot. I don't use the Bee much but yes, it wrecks things. I've yet to tackle Veracidoobie with her but a chance at the Hawkeye is looking more enticing now than it used to.
I just got my first Hawkeye and Interfacer from Voracidous thanks to your vids demonstrating how to pre-stack CA and use the glass tank/pimpernel combo. Thanks dude!!
Digging all this love for Jakobs. The GodFinger, The Unforgiven, farming for a Bekah. Hell, even The StinkPot made it. Can't wait for the very fun and underrated, Greed.
The Hawkeye is pretty good with Axton too. Metal Storm makes it have almost no recoil at all, and makes the fire rate comparable to that of a Vladof. All of his gun damage boosts are great too, much more effective than crit damage buffs with this weapon.
I still prefer the buffed Cobra on Axton for its stronger one-shot capabilities and splash damage, which Axton benefits from greatly. When my Cobra gets outdated at OP levels, though, I suppose I should check out the Hawkeye, because it has good synergy with Metal Storm, Impact, and Duty Calls.
the skin really looks nice, the wood does look like case hardened metal with the actual metal parts looking like well polished platinum and the glowing parts like cryo elem.. these are the type of weapons i like to show off, equip it then switch to another weapon, you know everybody can see it on your back like its some sort of godly sword gleaming and blinding your lowly peasant muckamuck-using friends.. (no offense to muckamuck users)

Hey Luke I happen to have the community patch and with it you can buy the seraph weapons like the hawkeye from the dlc seraph vendor for the price of 120 seraph crystals thought it might help you with deciding whether or not to get the hawkeye on your farming character
Would you say maybe that the Hawk Eye might outpace the muckamuk when it doesn’t have perfect parts? You’ve done a video on farming vorac with high levels of CA, meaning it might be easier to farm a decent hawkeye over a muckamuck.
I think that the far better zoom and recoil make it worth the Hawkeye even if it puts out a little less damage. The thing that makes it not worth it is the process of getting it. Not a fun boss fight.
For the most part most maps are not really friendly for longer ranges. Of course there are a few exceptions but for the majority of the game other lower zoom, higher damage snipers will do better.
Try the Skullmasher which you can farm from Mothra or Gibb it. Easiest crits to build stacks since it shoots 5 pellets per shot. The other item would be Lyuda since it has elemental effects and also easier to build up those Ascension stacks because of the high fire rate. Those are the main sniper rifles I use.

Like Luke explained in the video, Zer0 already has many critical hit damage boosts, so a Tumtum Hawk Eye would be indeed much worse. The gun is much better now because of the base damage increase (plus an awesome new skin).

In my case it is the Shookum Hawk Eye. In your case the prefix to this gun may change, but it will be some variation of the Hawk Eye ^^

How do the overpowered levels work? ....Was thinking about starting up a new character but the game seems quite different now with leveling.
In OP levels the enemies keep scaling levels up to 80 while you don't. Gears and weapons do scale however
