I remember the Ice Cream truck. Facts. I gave it a thumbs down initially but I listened to the entire interview and recanted. I gave it a thumbs up. The very fact that Eric B mentioned a jewel from his Old Dad and how Kane's pops used to roll with his pops indicates how black men of my age group had a pops(or maybe an uncle) that used to put us up on game. The young lion, Flip, is a testimony of what very little guidance looks like. Eric B was schooling him throughout the entire interview with composure and principled answers. I began to see how my age group left a lot of youngsters out there to approach life with very little to almost zero guidance. I see it clear as day. When a man trains a young man to shut his mouth and listen, he grows older and learns how to observe for the jewels coming from a OG like Eric B. This young brother is an indictment against me and my generation (some/many of us) who failed to perform our duty. Now he's a grown man with little regard for good solid teaching which is what he was receiving. At least the seeds have been dropped.
