I love seeing how the animals respond to Dr. Willen. He's probably doing things they've never experienced, and is a stranger handling them, but they trust him. April is an anxious horse, but acts affectionately towards him.
Such a beautiful horse. It always amazes me how April doesn't just walk or trot away from you when you poke, prod and manipulate her body. You definitely convey your true communication with your clients. Such a great gift.
My grandpa was a hard wood logger and had Clydesdales and Percheron horses to get the trees out where mechanical means couldn’t get in. He didn’t believe in damaging the forest to get the downed trees out. My mom rode them bareback as a kid and loved them. This is a great organization and you help the horses so much.
