Dr Doug seemed to push him as far as needed and dr Doug did more than what he wanted but was proud of the horse prince for holding out as long as he did. I loved how dr Doug did as much as he did. He care for his patient and gave the horse what they needed and was conscious about of how much. That is great bed side manners. Doing the best to the finish. I am proud of everyone and praise and good luck to Prince may the healing begin.
@@ralphturner3798 funny enough, it’s not. The arthritis thing is a myth. There’s actually no proof now linking cracking your knuckles to any long term harm. A doctor actually cracked his knuckles on one hand for 60 years. No difference.
I love to see Dr. Doug work on horses. I grew up around quarter horses and my Dad was a BIG believer in quarterly chiropractor visits to keep them flexible. For all you nay sayers out there, this stuff works and helps these animals lead more productive and happier lives and have LESS pain in their joints and have better range of motion. ♥🐎👍
Thank you so much Steven for sharing your story, there are believers and non-believers of chiropractic, everybody has the choice but at the end the horses always give us the true answer, when you can see them rear or galloping and bucking at pasture. Thank you so much for your great support my friend! So grateful.🙏🏻
You said it Steven! Great comment! I share the same opinion, I have horses too and without Chiro/ physio, it is not possible to keep them fit in high age! Intelligent exercises good nutrition, fitting equipment, fresh air, social contacts and a Chiro make your horse fit for life! Have a nice day mate!
What a handsome and charming Prince, indeed! He definitely appreciated the adjustment and scritches. The licking and chewing after the short walk said it all. Thanks to all involved for giving him a wonderful 2nd chance.
Dr Doug I really enjoyed your description of how Princes spine was. For some reason I couldn't hear you talking but you did good with just the visual effects. Prince seemed to pop from head to tail. Thanks to all the rescue people you are all wonderful for saving all the horses that you do. Dr Doug as always thanks for all you do.

What a difference a crack session makes for a horse that's doing poorly. I saw Prince go from a listless horse to one that was ready to go. His ears were kind of flat at first, and when Doc did the last few cracks, I watched his ears go from "blah" to "ooh!!" and perked right up. Now that's how a horse is supposed to be, alert and ready to rumble.
Totally amazing he finally looked relieved of pain it will take a while but he will be better than before. Dr. Doug you are so GIFTED and have such a love for horses and all animals for sure God Bless you Dr. Doug.

@Animal Cracker: Dr. Doug Willen It's true. I was working and riding at the barn for 5 years as a teen, and my mentor was a true blue horse woman. She knew what she knew and reprogrammed some of the sad crazies from the track, in essence, showed that they could be regular horses again. I'll never forget her. We worked hard at the mucking of the stalls and earned riding privileges. That was the early 80's, simpler times indeed. ♥️🐴
