I really do like how modern smart phones let you talk, text, and video chat over cellular networks and WIFI, on top of all the other nifty things you can do like play games for phones, emulate old consoles, and if your mad enough, use a phone for actual work like trying to type out a document or make a presentation.
The DynaTAC is a series of cellular telephones manufactured by Motorola from 1983 to 1994. The Motorola DynaTAC 8000X received approval from the U.S. FCC on September 21, 1983. A full charge took roughly 10 hours, and it offered 30 minutes of talk time. It also offered an LED display for dialing or recall of one of 30 phone numbers. It was priced at $3,995 in 1984, its commercial release year, equivalent to $11,253 in 2022. DynaTAC was an abbreviation of "Dynamic Adaptive Total Area Coverage".
Hey man, I just wanted to say, this video has changed my life. For years, I've been dreading for happiness and hungry to find something that could enlighten my life. However, I never found it. But, when I clicked on this spontaneous video, from start to finish, i was foaming and drooling all over the screen due to the immense amount of work done in the preparation of this video and the ultimate production. I just wanted to say thanks... and I hope you have a great day.
In 1997 in grade 5 they told us about videocalls from peoples houses and phones to each other and i was SOOOO looking forward to it, now that it's here..... supremely underwhelming
The US Supreme Court ruled quite a few years ago that the true legal inventor of the telephone was Antonio Mauci made 27 years before AGB got the patent.
I think it is extremely important that we mention the help of Lewis Latimer. I think it’s great that we mentioned everyone else, but we continuously forget to mention Latimer and the huge role he played in this fantastic part of history.
Makes me wonder what the past generations that lived in the 1800 and before would think of how their intentions progressed. We can connect and keep in touch to anyone around the planet. It’s great when you think about it
It was a great creation. Telephone could assist us in connecting with someone who is very far away. It made a vast majority of countries and studies became more convenient. Nowadays, everyone consumes lots of time using their phone like watching movies. Some people think watching movies is a waste of time, but for me, I think, it depends on each person. I ordinarily learn a lot of knowledge while I watch movies, which helps me get information from people who are from foreign nations.
In short; the device which, has become the intermediary between loved ones of all ages before, during and on the breakdown of relationships (increasingly so in children's relationships).
We all love the idea of inventors but in so many important firsts, the guy we call the inventor was one of a bunch that were working on it in different places of the world over years. For example, Koreans invented movable metal type 50 years before Gutenberg.
I'm glad that the generations before us did all this, because I feel like our generation is too stupid to do any of this. Honestly I don't even need a smart phone. I wish that I lived before.
And that's why they have control over people like you charging extautionate prices way above their cababilities of phones, all Apple keeps doing is charging an extra £200 for the next model that just does two stupid extra things
Damien Nolan I think Iphone is about the Brand, Apple is like for rich people. While android is an easy affordable high quality phone. While apple is for those rich people.
Ermm , kinda incorrect . It was the Italian, he couldnt afford the patent but it was being assessed for it , alexander put his name on the patent . There was a court case but the Italian died before the judge made his ruling . Fact
Nope. Was watching The Blue Gardenia and seeing the ladies operating the switchboard I got to wondering how did phones work back in the 50s and research brought me to this video.

Bell was the rightful winner of the title
I've heard a rumor that people used to have phones for a limited time and therefore didn't own them.
Makes sense. They were expensive to own as an every-day necessity. They probably rented them like cars.
cool thanks for helping with homework
Same
I’m still doing my homework
