Thanks for this video, I bought this same thermostat and the instructions weren’t great, but now I see how to get the right parameters, mines attached to a heat Matt for my Tarantulas so got this one for £12 as a test and I’m really impressed so aim to purchase a few more, thanks again 🤩
self adhesive magnetic strip or glu tack it and also silicone at the same time.all the suggestions are easily removable when you have to replace for a new one.they are cheap to buy.soa bit of calibrating wont do us no harm
Yes that should be fine, as a 50 watt heater will only draw just under a quarter of an amp (200ma) of current. This device should be capable of switching at least 3amps or 480 watts load safely.
Hello mate could you help me please. I’m trying to keep a stable temp like you was saying the in video. I’ve turned by difference right down to about 0.3 degree and the delay to 10 seconds. Could you advise if a better setting to keep it more stable please… this thing not the easiest
May I know how exactly does the temperature controller, control the fan? From what i can see, the temperature controller only has 2 wires: 1 for the thermometer and 1 to plug it into an outlet. Is there some third wire to plug into the fan too?
I bet the damage is under that large sticker, I'm guessing some tape or similar stuck to the box and ripped the image and so they decided to put at a lower price which is nice. I am curious how accurate is it as I'm seeing some reviews saying it's not very accurate.
Yeah the box was the only thing that appeared to be damaged its been working great in the 6 months I've had it now. As for accuracy I had it plugged in the same time as my inkbird in the same tank and they read the same so I'd say its on point. If you search my channel for the inkbird review I show some footage of the comparisons 👍
This unit looks okay & is simple enough to set up. Although Ink Bird is more flexible offering two separately switchable sockets, with two different time zones with different temperatures being selectable for day/night if required. But the Ink Bird instructions are a nightmare to follow, having been written in Chinese English!... hence are very confusing to try to comprehend.
Did not help at all to set the temperature control of this device, just a lot of waffle, must remember to avoid Mr. Brightfryed in future. Peter Bartlett
What do you think is better? Inkbird or Nicrew? Let me know below! 👇

Thank you for the video and thorough explanation, can I connect it to 50 Watts aquarium heater to set hi-lo heater limits?

the middle brace on the rack is not in properly. just so you know
Thanks for the heads up and good spot! The rack has since been moved but I do remember it being set wrong when I broke it down. 👍
I want temperature controller for two heaters and I don't find a single good video on UA-cam that explains it well f.
The Ink Bird ITC-306T has dual outputs to control 2 separate devices individually. That is the one I am using.

The power socket outlet on the front of this device is where we plug the fan into buddy.

My heat mode works flawlessly but cool mode doesn't work. In fact the temperature increases when change to cool mode. Pls help.

Intro music is way too load! Put me off watching the video.
Thanks for the feedback. Thankfully I don't use intro music these days! Hard lessons learnt in the UA-cam creator world haha.
Wasting my time here zeg
