I know this is intended to be understood as a romance ending song... We had to say farewell to our beautiful, 20 yo cat this week. She always had this perfect, gentle, lady disposition and very fastidious taste. She was ready to go and, 'A lady always *knows* when it's time to leave.' I like to think of this song as her parting words to me. She and I joked like that.
