Is it just me.. or does UA-cam send me through the next steps I need to be successful in my trading. I swear! Its like shopping online and having a section that says “ others bought these items with this”. It’s almost like UA-cam keeps track the next things to watch as you progress in trading.

Personally I find the classifications somewhat arbitrary and rooted in an era where markets didn’t trade 24/5. Personally I look at the developing profile and try and gauge the sentiment. Is price accepted at this level, is this a probe or a break, where will we return to on a pullback etc. Still looking at the profile in the same way just not classifying it with regard to the day session or the opening range. That’s not to say that establishing a scenario for the session your trading is not important.
On a more general level I think shifting from a ‘pattern’ focus to a ‘market sentiment’ focus is no bad thing. Profile of course encourages this.
You explain very well the structures and how they form but not so well in the trading opportunities and when to enter which is the most important thing

Initial balance and DR/IDR are correlated. Initial balance volume is why DR/IDR works as its the volume at certain prices that is upholding the pattern.

Thanks for sharing this. So if I understand correctly, this information will be used for the next trading session? So during my preparation before the open, I go to the previous day and I analyze what type of day was it, and from there I get an hypothesis for the day? Cheers

does TOS have this volume profile like the one youre showing? i know it has a version of volume profile but i dont see it evolve during the day
Yes, as far as I know it does!! But not a very good platform to trade on, IMO 👍🏼

looking at s&p and all the days I've looked through so far didn't follow the 'non-violated first hour high/low' thing...
When you are taking initial balance do you mean specifically VAH/VAL or PAH/PAL? Other than that this looks like pivot point trading and I get it completely
Hey Richard, no the IB is the only real time based data I look at. The IB as I use it, is the first hour of the regular trading season. 👍🏼👍🏼
On the Double distribution ou mention fading back to POC would it make sense to join at the POC to move with the move down?
If I have understood the question right, yes it would make sense. One point to note is it can be quite difficult to get off a clean entry at the POC. So I would advise caution, but overall idea makes sense!

Seems informative but very confusing. You introduce to all sort of things that complicate it, but I wonder how you define or predict which structure it is. Assuming you don’t have to predict, what will be the next steps?? Look/stare into me st day’s structure?

Hey Korbs, how do we expect the market to act when it reaches the areas with the low volume nodes? I think I have watched too many videos on it. I'm looking at the high volume nodes as potential support and resistance and the low volume areas as places the market will push work through easily...is that correct or am I backwards? Thanks man
In a general sense, I use HVN’s as targets and LVNs as support / resistance for entries 🍻🍻
Do these strategies work on forex pairs? Gold, oil as well?

Hey Nathan, I understand it seems confusing. When I started I was confused too. If you stick with it you will find that it is actually very simple (not the same as easy) but there is a pretty steep learning curve to get over!! Worth it though 👍🏼👍🏼

@@korbstrading this is great information. I am part of your masterclass Vp (purchased last month). But this was super helpful as I try to identify the type of patterns that set up in these day trades. One thing missing though is how the VP comes into play on these set ups. Which is why asked if it was contained in the course. Unless you consider this to be “outdated” info?

the intraday profile is next to impossible to read, who says that the first hour defines the initial balance? it's nonsense maybe the profile of the previous day show clues where the price could find support and resistance
its easier than you think, have an expectation of it staying within value, and reach / come back to its fair price ;)
If you stop focusing on price (most traders will never figure this out) and if you know what you are looking for, reading the developing profile is not difficult. The better you get, the quicker you can do it. 👍🏼
