Hi Nataraj,Can you please enlighten me more about price action strategies? how do I spot when the prices would flop so I get in for a buy and take profits?
Hold back for a breakoff structure on a small time frame as soon as the prices makes a slight downward pullback. But then don’t enter a trade immediately the prices are down because prices can easily still go up which would have you loosing money.
The biggest challenge holding traders back from utilizing price action concepts is that
price action concepts can be very difficult to identify
Prices are not constant because the market stays teetering,it’ll be very difficult to know when prices collapses

In cases when there are medium IB, I am seeing the prices first go in one direction and then reverse the direction (traversing across the IB). My question is when this sort of reversal happens, does the reversal happen once during a trading day or can the price reverse again or stay within IB range (from your observations)?
It stays within IB
chances of hitting opposite level is 30% approx
Please make a live trade so that there is no confusion when taking trade whether it is belongs to small IB / medium IB / large IB day.

Thanx for the valuable content. I have one doubt. In order to find if its small IB day, you said we should divide the Daily ATR's value by 3, and then check if current ATR value is lessthan that previously calculated value. My doubt is, in what timeframe we should check the current ATR is less than that calculated value?. Can you plz clarify.
As per IB calculations you need to consider the DAILY timeframe.
Can we apply this strategy in Stocks also?

The IB Analysis is given for Nifty-50, as if IB is below the daily ATR/3 (63 ) means small IB.
If the IB is in between 63 & ATR means medium IB
If the IB is above ATR means Large IB
What is the Range for analysis of Banknifty?

When market makes small IB it usually extends by 2 times of IB. So dividing by three will give an appropriate value for small IB!

Basically as per the conceit of MP when the IB is small we can expect 2 times extension of IB. So if we decide it by three then we can calculate the possible small IB
Does this happen on all trading instruments like forex ,stocks,crypto and commodities. So the first hour of market open determines what ib range it is.
It varies according to the instrument. Few years test will help

I read this book one year ago and practice it in live market for 6 months.
But, the truth is, this strategy is not profitable at all. And not properly objective.
You know the IB type but you have not given the 1 hour range limit for nifty and banknifty.
So, it becomes very difficult for medium IB range because medium IB range is between 34.14 to 105.42 for nifty.
2020 is the last year when small IB was found

Swing high of the price breakout above IBL
My question is regarding How to Identify , Small IB ,Medium IB , Large IB. WE ARE MAKING DAY TIME BASIS FOR DECIDING IB type.
Which time period for ATR to be used be compare current ATR with 1/3 of DAY ATR.
Whether it is 1 Hr - (Based on IB decided period.)
Or
Else.
As it is changing as per period selected.

We refer to the previous days ATR!

If gap up or gap down occurs then wheather we need to consider gap in IB calculation ?
No! For tomorrow IB calculations we refer to today’s daily ATR value.
Suppose today there is a gap up opening of 100 points and in one hr candle goes again 30 points up only... In this case if we calculate IB without considering gap it will be small IB only but market already made a maximum move towards upwards.
