  • Based on his 30+ years as a trader, Al Brooks will discuss many examples of common bull and bear traps that take place late in the day. A breakout or failed breakout late in the day usually creates a swing that often lasts until the close. Al will talk about setups, entries, and trade management.

      Sometimes Al uses expressions he made up. You will only understand some of them if you read his books. I am sure there must be some al brooks terminology page or video somewhere.

    I noticed when he says wedge he usually says, 1 2 3, does that mean it needs at least 3 certain points to be a wedge, what if its 4 is that still a wedge?

    • @vitorrafaelmorandini2338
      @vitorrafaelmorandini2338 4 роки тому +4

      Yes, a wedge is a 3 push pattern. If a 4 push move looks like a wedge you trade it like a wedge, in my humble interpretation of Al brooks price action lessons

    • @mouthbalz
      @mouthbalz 4 роки тому

      Jimo225 1,2,3,4 are the start of the legs of a wedge, triangle, flags. You must read his books.

    • @kennykamei2953
      @kennykamei2953 2 роки тому +2

      A wedge can have more than 3 pushes but by the time it reaches the 3rd push down or up it usually attracts profit taking so you don't wanna enter into the trend there. That's his primary point.

    Complete rubbish. He is playing his tune as he goes. If he was such a great trader, he should simply trade 1000 lots a piece of the emini S&P contract. If he can do it on one contract, he could trade 1000 too, because that market can absorb large orders and is very liquid.
    Al Brooks does not trade for a living. He sells courses. I do trade and I do not teach others how to. My edge is only for myself. I do not want others to know what I know.

    • @stefansmith920
      @stefansmith920 2 роки тому +2

      Oh so why wasting your time watching his videos if you are a 1000 lot trader? And on top of it all if you truly are this successfull 1000 lot trader but not sharing your experiences its even more of a waste of your precious time watching idiots like Al Brooks

      I know trader millionaire who trades like Al Brooks exactly same technic and he is trading between 100 and 300 lots on DJI an NASDAQ and when he adding to his positions they become 1500 sometimes. And I repeat he uses Al Brooks methods. Actually this is simple technical analysis not Al Brooks necessarily.

      I do agree, once the trade works, adding on to it is what makes a winner. The 1:3 strategy is rubbish. After commissions, you will end up losing.
      I have never seen Al adding on to a winning trade.

      Rubbish? LOL He's one of the most respected traders in the industry.... Saying he's rubbish is like a high school basketball student walking up to Lebron James and saying YOU SUCK AT BASKETBALL! . It's nonsensical. Not to mention he has thousands of testimonials from students who have taken his course that have nothing but positive things to say about the course he teaches and I happen to know a couple of them. Your opinion is in the minority. And how do you know he doesn't trade in real life? Just because he doesn't do callouts and have an alert service? #1 alert services don't work and #2 he doesn't trade live because he wants students to learn on their own. He doesn't want his thousands of followers to try and replicate the exact trade he does, thus moving the market.
