Very nice, and original upholstery!! I have my parents 58 Cadillac they bought in 1960. I was 1. Southern California car. Series 62 like this one, factory air , and power windows. Silver interior and dark gray metallic exterior. I still drive it. This car is one of the rare ones where it is more attractive in 4 doors, than the coupe , in my opinion anyway. Pillarless 4 door design just looks good.
Just the premium gas offered today. And a can of octane booster. Doesn't ping unless I'm really getting on it hard, which is very rare. Even in the 60s, no one had 100 octane . It will run on regular, but it does ping alot on that. But I always use premium in it.
@@johnfranklin5277 Never use regular gas in that car! Only premium should be used. Try those super high octanes from Union 76 and She'll if you're out in California.
@@johnfranklin5277 If you live by or near a private plane airport you may want to ask them to get permission to use the aviation fuel used for propeller or TURBO prop plane engines. That fuel should undoubtedly work with absolutely no pinging.

'58s are beautiful cars.
Einfach 1000 mal geiler und zuverlässiger als diese schlechten E-Autos von heute.
I love this car I can watch all of these UA-cam showings of 1958 Cadillacs
Einfach herrlich! Ich schau mir das immer wieder an und lausche dem tollen Sound. 👍

John Franklin: Where do you get your Premium gasoline and do you buy the special 100octane plus I think needed for this car?!?

@@johnfranklin5277 I think Union 76, and She'll have a 100 octane plus gasoline. It's not cheap though. But it would sure be worth using.

These are truly breathtaking. What a luxury car is supposed to be. PS: This is a 4 door hardtop, not a conventional sedan.
