I have my parents 58 cadillac, They bought it in 1960 from a Doctor friend of theirs. I was one year old. It's the same dark gray as this one. Its called Prestwick gray. Has 2 tone silver interior. Power windows, and Factory AC. Mom gave it to me in 1982. Lifelong Southern California car. Its still on the road, and I enjoy driving it around town and to car shows. I'm 63, its 64. We're growing old together Lol!
Beautiful Cadillac!!! This is a real beauty, love the fuzzy dice & the curb feeler. This car is the epitome of 1950s luxury!! Thanks so much for sharing this video!! 👍🙂
Another stunning Caddy. The only flaw I see that I would change would be to reroute the exhaust pipes through the bumper as they should be. Great videography as usual, Bjørn!
@@youngexotics2155 Probably so. However, he/she may not know that regular cleaning of the bumper exhaust port with bleach or 409 household spray cleanser can prevent that. A VERY long time ago when I was a kid my mom had a 57 Oldsmobile 98 to which I was assigned washing tasks, I used bleach.
@@andrewmckinnon1940 I can absolutely tell you that the exhaust pipes were NEVER designed to come out of the exhaust ports. They are decoration only. Completely fake! Just like many new cars today. Inside the back of the ports it is completely enclosed. My 58 which has been family owned since 1960 has always had the dual exhaust come out from just below the bumper. So many people think the exhaust ports are REAL, its a testament to cadillacs ability to fool so many people with such good fakes. And what a coincidence, my grandparents had a beautiful light blue 57 Oldsmobile too. I think after a few years, GM realized putting the exhaust out that way, looked dirty, and DID damage the bumpers.
@@johnfranklin5277 True on the original 58 except for the Broughams, and there was a service bulletin on the 58s that paid for dealers to reroute the pipe underneath the bumper. That said, the pipes were not visible in either case, unlike the car in the video. My mother had a 57 Coupe de Ville and my grandfather at 56 Fleetwood...both exhaust ports on those were real, not fake. Regardless, the two cars in the video are stunning.
Another masterpiece! Cadillac exercised some restraint in '58 by not applying chrome trim with a shovel, like Buick and Oldsmobile. Nothing, however, is as elegant and stylish as the '57-'58 Eldorado Brougham. That, I believe, was the pinnacle of Cadillac design. If, somehow, I ever come into a big pile of money, I'll own one. Until then, I'll just drool from afar. Thanks for another outstanding video!
A beautiful car from the time of my youth. My only complaint would be with the whitewalls. The narrower whitewalls on the Brougham would be more appropriate for all '58 Caddies. (At least from my recollections.)
Would love to own that beauty😍
This is the car Gram Parsons is leaning up against on the Flying Burrito Brothers' album, Sleepless Nights. Classic cover. Beautiful car.

If only I could call one of these my own one day...
Omg such a stile
My next door neighbor had a 4 door Deville like that 2 door you featured. I still remember that beauty.
Thank you. You always show such beautiful cars.
Thank you so much
A pair of classic *BEAUTIES!!!!* :D
Great video, beautiful 58 CDV and the Brougham is something else. ❤️ Keep making the videos. 👍
My god!!! What a beautiful car...
This was always my favourite 50's era car 🤩
SUPER AUTO j'ai la meme depuis 40 ans

Yes i understand about the exhaust pipes. I guess the owner did this to not damage the chrome on the rear bumpers:) Thanks for watching!

58 Cadillac stopped running it through the bumper like the 57 exhaust. Cadillac discovered the Exhaust was killing the chrome
These Cadillac are as beautiful as Margot ( Grace Kelly ) in "Dial M for Murder"😂
MOM &DAD HAD '58. WHITE /RED INT . CONVERTABLE
Donde puedo conseguir uno de estos
It would’ve been nice to get a look at the engine, trunk, and a better look at the interior.
0:17 The ultimate mafia cars!!! Frikken cool and gorgeous 🙌😍. Imagine sitting in a restaurant outside, until these cars pull up....
Awesome!!!!
Very nice! 👏😏

What is the song? It's worthy of being played with these Cadillacs.

Nice
The most beautiful cars ever made were 1950's Cadillac.
'58. 4$ALE???
The correct sabre wheel hubcap for a non Eldorado car is the large red plastic medallion used on the 1957 hubcap. No additional corona.
Too Kool for Skool!

Go cat Go
Beautiful Cadillac Dont like wire wheels better with stock caps
Those are optional Sabre-Wheels. Original for the car!
Bonking code at the rear of the car.
