This is Kim Bora, a member of girl group Cherry Bullet. She’s TWENTY FOUR and has been on multiple of these ‘survival shows’ where contestants compete to be placed in a temporary group that releases a set number of albums.
She has never won in any of the shows that she’s competed in even though she can sing circles around the competition. Networks will ask her agency to put her in these shows because her performances boost program ratings but she never makes the final cut and it breaks my heart.
I think that says a lot about the current state of the kpop industry but that’s a whole other conversation. 😅
