Holy cow! I thought the masts were turning ,but it's all the sails that pivot that's a lot of wires. I have a question: why don't we see more people make rc tall ships using kits? The conversion is not possible why?

Hi. There are only two pairs of lines per mast, to operate the yards, so it’s not so complicated. As to why there aren’t any kits of sailing square-riggers, I suppose it’s because there aren’t enough people who are interested. There is a Revell kit of the “Alexander Von Humboldt”, but it doesn’t sail, only has a motor, which I think defeats the object.
