I once sang this after my crush broke my heart, and I had a singing lesson after. I got to the place where the lesson was given and I was alone on the stage as I was the first one that had arrived. I put this song and began to sing and cry and when I finished I noticed all my sing friends were watching me and they began clapping.

This song is so real to me. It also predicts a very sad future yet to come. Unless you have lived through a gut wrenching experience as Lea did with Cory, you just can not fully appreciate the feeling. Wanting to die is just too simple a statement for such a feeling.

I feel bad for the character. I would hate to work for something my entire life to just not get it... Actually, I've kind of been in that situation before... I've tried for advanced classes and such my entire life, but it takes me twice as long to comprehend and complete the work so I keep getting kicked out of advanced classes... When you spend almost your entire waking life on something for a very long time, when you lose it it feels like you're losing a very close friend... I don't know why I bother. I've never been able to complete a timed test before, and for standardized tests I'm lucky if I manage to complete 75% of the test section before time runs out... There's no way I'm getting into a decent college, so I don't know why I keep trying so hard. I don't see anyone else spending 5 hours on homework after a full day of school, and still have to work during weekends and holidays... Sorry for ranting. It's just that some of my friends thought I may have a reading disorder, but when I was tested they just called me "slow" and said I'd still have to take the ACT and SAT timed... Sometimes, I just feel like giving up completely. Seriously, for a second I thought I'd have a fun summer, but it looks like I'm going to have to spend the entire time memorizing ACT/SAT flashcards and trying to build up my reading speed, and I'm also getting lectured to look at colleges (which I may not have decent scores for) and to practice driving (we don't have a very functional car)... Not to be so sarcastic, which is my specialty, but "It's a wonderful life".

We All loved Cory because he was fun and a good friend, but we actually lost FINN, he was like our friend, our talented performer, it was our lost. They lost the human being, the best friend, the boyfriend, the fiancé, whatever you wanna call it. And we are always gonna miss him, but we have to be positive. There's no other way.
Out of respect for Lea Michele and her grief, I don't think it is right to go to every performance that she ever did on Glee in which she cries or is super upset and make it about Cory Monteith. We have no idea how she dealt with his death or how she is doing now. This performance is probably no where NEAR how she felt. She is acting in this clip.
