This always makes me cry. Corys last song with Lea and just the overall atmosphere. So loving and pure. You can see they were a couple off screen just by how they were. No acting needed. Lea blushing is the absolute cutest. I miss Cory so much!

Thinking about this performance before made sad because Finn and Rachel never ended up together and it still makes me sad that they never ended up together. But like he said, they are endgame. Dead or alive, they will always be endgame. We all love and miss Cory and his amazing character Finn. But it makes me so happy that the last song Cory and Lea really sung together was a love song. Like Cory said "Finchel is forever"

Oh my gosh, the way he looks at her when he starts singing, and then when she starts singing. Rachel and Finn were supposed to be endgame. The writers were going to put them back together in the end, but then he died and they put her back with Jesse, of all people.

I am crying so freaking hard right now. I am so glad that this was their last duet. Not like that, that sounded horrible. Obviously I wish they had more, but for a last song together... it's perfect. It's so romantic and prophetic and they needed that. I love that cover and it will forever be one of my favorite Finchel moments. RIP Cory Monteith.

What this clip fails to include (because the screen has been cut) is the flower with one petal in his hand at the end. Finn made an entire speech to Rachel about her "modern relationship" with Brody, claiming (truthfully, even Rachel knows it) that Rachel was in love with someone else (obviously him, Finn). He weaves "she loves me, she loves me not" into the pauses between sentences in this exchange, and here he is left with one final petal (right after saying "she loves me not", so this last petal would mean "she loves [Finn]"). Rachel leaves, but then comes back and delicately takes the last petal (where you see Finn smile), which means Rachel accepts that she loves him.

I couldn't watch Glee anymore after Cory Monteith died. I know that the show wasn't about him, but his absence just made the show feel hollow and shallow.

I feel like them together really shows the kind of guy Finn was in the show, regardless of him being the 'quarterback' and her being quite unpopular and freakish, esp. at the beginning of the show, he really got to know Rachel and did fall in love with her. Finn brought out Rachel's down to earth side and Rachel brought out the hardest and most inspiring Finn. This is my favourite performance to watch but also the most heartbreaking. They truly are 'endgame' and the way they look at each other, you can tell that's real love and not just acting. RIP Cory.

i have to say that is my favourite duet. Not because it was the last one they did together - though that is heartbreaking- its that you can hear how far vocally Cory had come with his voice and the rasp in Lea's as they sing. They truly complimented one another.
It's almost a year since Cory died, sometimes I still don't believe it, the only thing I know is that I miss him. How can you miss someone you never knew so freaking much?
I'm a little surprised at how much I miss him too. I watch at least one of these videos everyday. I only watch the show for Lea now. Cory was really special.

I never realized how much of a part Finn was until he left. I have lost interest, season 5 was just a daze. I liked the direction Finn was going and seeing this and the scientist make me so nostalgic, plus the fact that I just lost it in "the quarterback" when Mr Schue cries.
I've been wondering this for the last year...This is so hard to watch...I actually stopped watching Glee due to the fact that it just wasn't the same without Cory...When I got the news, I wasn't even home. I was miles and miles away and I had to go to a funeral the next day for my great aunt, so I couldn't even really talk to anyone about it. I miss him so much..."If You Say So" makes me bawl because i just know how much Lea loved him and this is just oh so hard...

Mes Naya People are so much more than the mistakes that they make. It's so not fair to remember him as the glee star who overdosed. Because he was a very successful and good man, and if we define him by his mistake, everything else is wasted.
Trust Me, I know what it's like.. Going through Losing the Love of Your Life is the most awful, shocking, indescribable pain that I have ever experienced.. It's been about 7 1/2 months since my Love passed.. We were together for almost 11 Years.. I was 21 when we met, He literally asked me to Marry him 10 days after we met, and we were officially Engaged exactly 20 days after that, and now I'm 32 years old, we were never officially married with a piece of paper, but we had said vows to each other and believed in God's eyes we were Husband and Wife, we wanted to save to get Married in the Bahamas, that was what I had wanted, we had so many plans ahead of us.. Then I juat wanted to Marry him finally, and I thought just to go Down the Shore and get Married on the Beach there and have whoever we wanted there.. we had 10 years and 7 months Together exactly..We were so Very Happy, so Much In Love.. In Episode 3 of Season 5 of Glee, the tribute episode to Cory Monteith, the Quarterback I believe it's called, There is a scene between Rachel/Lea and to Matthew/Will/Mr. Shue, what she says to him of how she's feeling, it could have been word for word what I said to people just months earlier and I never seen the show before, so I know it was really Lea speaking through her character in that scene especially.. I had only recently watched Glee for the very first time this past February-March on Netflix.. My Mom and I made it a Marathon.. Watching her in that episode, I felt Her pain, My own pain.. And surprising watching Glee, it had actually Helped me.. Music was literally a Huge deal to my Husband, he was a very talented Musician and Singer.. I had him actually teach me how to sing in the months before He passed away.. and Music has helped me so much deal with my pain, anger, depression in a healthy way.. Well I've shared quite a bit, but if you go up to the search bar here on UA-cam and type, Glee 5x03 Rachel, you will see what she says before she sings to her friends and what she says to Will, it is the Real Deal, the whole episode is.. the clips of fanmade scenes are really wonderful.. RIP Cory Monteith and to My Love, Edward M. Quaile, I Love You Sweetheart, Always and Forever.

I'm deeply saddened by Cory's death and Glee was never the same to me but, somehow, the fact that this is the last song Finn and Rachel sang together puts a little smile on my face. I mean, just listen to the lyrics. The song is about seizing the day and being grateful for each moment you have left, it's about being present, regardless of what tomorrow will bring. That's the way I see it. Their love story is so tragic yet so inspiring and it has had such an impact on me but this duet is the one thing that reminds me that, sometimes, you can give someone forever within numbered days. I don't think he took his life. I think it was an accident. He had a major problem with addiction, he was even in rehab a month or two before he passed. I mean I didn't know him but i don't believe his overdose was on purpose.

In my heart, Finnchel forever. Their chemistry was there right from the beginning in the days of the Pilot and season 1; even though Cory and Lea didn't date until much later, I always convince myself that they had been; their chemistry as Rachel and Finn was so powerful and their love was eternal. Perfect love song, with even more meaning after Cory's passing. RIP Cory. xx
