It represented the message that a beginning skateboarder could learn to skate in a hate free judgement free environment and where they could just learn. The building is gone but the mission remains the same.

In fact Lance the other founder of Braille left not to pursue another job he actually left to pursue a higher “rank” in s-tology. There is photo evidence of this. There is also others in the management side of Braille that are s-tologists. It’s kinda wild actually. Quite the sad twist.

i literally quit a job over something like this once. it was so bizarre to watch everyone get so happy over being thrown some free chinese food once a month if they bent over backwards to clear a $1,000,000 sales goal that month (that would stress everyone out trying to reach that goal the entire time). i mean i understand a business needing to make money, but it was how excited everyone would get at the end in exchange for what they gave back to the company i.e. company: "thanks for the $1mil, now here's some fried rice, you wageslave" employees: "yay! we made *you* $1mil! now feed us $10 noodles for our loyalty!"
