I would order another case of the mini Lego sets and wrap it for Solly for his big Christmas present and put it away and make myself a note reminder in my phone of where I put it so I would remember (or a pic). That way he can build the individual items, the large item or just have extra blocks. A Christmas gift would be marked off of my Christmas list.... that is for sure.
The little lego pieces might be a good thing to remember for his stocking on christmas

I think you are doing a great job filling in for a mom. Your kids are taken care of better than a lot of kids are, I promise. Happy belated Father's day. You are the best Dad ever. there isn't one for Thomas, he was just using all their colors. They are for Solly, Sophia, Claudia, and Hannah. If there are extra and an older kid wants one, then they can have it.

Tom I always notice you tape the flaps opposite ways up on gifts and sometimes not on the side with the lengthways opening!! Maybe just me but all openings go on the same side hahahahaha. Just my thing

If you let the kids cook it won't hurt that way they will learn lives skills and gives you some time to do something else
I have been cooking (at least) one day a week since I was 16 or 18. I think it might be good for your teenagers to learn how to cook. They will be better prepared for when they go out on their own. Please see it as a learning experience for them and not as you being a bad father. I actually think it makes you a better father for preparing your kids
I agree, having the kids cook once a week or so will better prepare them for the real world.

One of the PURPLE or BLUE bags missed the sticky hands.... I think it fell down in the middle of the 2 bags. Might want to check to see if it made the bag. I think those are great bags, Tom. Outstanding job!

Tell Solly never to get rid of his LEGO. Keep for man6 years and people will pay more for vintage LEGO sets. Keep the books and flatpack the boxes. Even a box can be sold alone!

A goody bag idea would be to have the things set out and the kids can go along and choose for their bags...takes the time and mind stuff out of doing the bags and lets kids individualise them

Your kids are going to have such fond memories of their childhood when they get old. After they have lived their life and look back they will smile at the little things you did you bring them joy. They will remember their mom's death and how you made it bearable for them. Andrea would be so proud of you. You are a special man Tom. When the kids are grown and you have an empty nest I hope you find a young woman to make another nest with. You deserve what you love and what you love are children. I hope when you are 70 you and your young wife are still bringing babies into the world. You may end up with a total of 20 children. How much fun that would be!!!! I'm serious! (Think young ,) Hahaha I enjoy watching so much thank you
