    Hearing you speak about those clubs made me realize that I just may have the wrong clubs. I think I'll stop by my local juggling shop soon and see if they have a club that fits me better. Btw, thanks to your Video I pretty much have 100 throws of Clubs consistently. Started ~6 weeks ago from 0 and now I get to 100 throws on the first or second atempt (from a completely cold start).

    You should do a "rule of threes: For clubs and balls alike, you do beginner sets, "next level" / intermediate sets, and then pro / your favorite sets. Spend some time talking about your most used GO TO clubs and balls and why you like them the most! That would be nice.

  • @josephfiore2843

    I was writing a "I respectively disagree," response when you mention most of what I was going to say. But everyone in our group has had problems with the dowel breaking down. The other materials are great so , if you're handy, you can get good wood dowels and rebuild them. Also highly recommend Henrys Delphin as a great beginner and intermediate.

    • @TaylorTries
      @TaylorTries  4 роки тому +1

      Yeah wood dowels are probably going to break eventually, especially if you’re putting a lot of stress on them like juggling on concrete. That’s why I prefer the cheaper pro clubs like Loops and Delphins. Having to replace a $25 club every so often isn’t that bad, and in my experience doesn’t happen that frequently unless you’re using them A LOT. Px3s are the best option if you want a truly durable club, but they feel very strange and even then have had issues with the screws breaking.

      @@TaylorTries I haven't upgraded yet. I still use these clubs everyday to practice and hone my skills, perhaps you could make some suggestions for intermediate clubs? Also I used a bit of electrical tape to hold the ends in.. They're only a tiny bit loose cos I've been using them a lot..!

    • @TaylorTries
      @TaylorTries  4 роки тому +2

      @@Slimboyfat1979 That actually says a lot to me about the longterm durability of the clubs! I feel like every beginner set I've tried has failed within a few months of daily use. As for intermediate clubs, there aren't really any options between a beginner set and a pro set. But there are less expensive pro clubs that I recommend! My personal favorite is the Henrys Loop Grip club, which will run you about $25 per club. The Henrys Delphin is the same price and is also a favorite for people. Those are the most affordable pro clubs that I know of!

    Hmmm, maybe it's time to upgrade from my dubé airflites? They're so durable, but so awkward to throw! 🤔

    • @TaylorTries
      @TaylorTries  4 роки тому +2

      The Airflites are really hard on your hands in my opinion, and definitely have an awkward spin. But they are very durable! If durability is a big concern and you don't want to spend the money on a quality multi piece club (like a Henrys Loop), then I personally recommend the Renegade Spotlight club. It's very similar to the Airflite, but with a much softer material that doesn't hurt your hand and a much better mold that spins more naturally. I used them for many years, and they are a great option for a lot of club juggling tricks. I still think a multi-piece club will serve you better in the long run for a variety of tricks, but if you're going to get a single piece club then I highly recommend the Renegade Spotlight :)
