GREG, YOU ARE UNEQUIVOCALLY THE BEST REACTOR I HAVE SEEN ON YT... YOU TOTALLY GET INTO THE MUSIC, EVERY ASPECT OF EACH SONG, YOUR SMILE IS SO GENUINE, YOUR ENTIRE BODY & ESPECIALLY YOUR FACE SHOWS SUCH PURE APPRECIATION FOR THEIR MUSIC.... I LOVE SEEING SOMEONE TOTALLY APPRECIATING WHAT I FEEL ABOUT QUEEN... I BEGAN LISTENING TO QUEEN IN 1974 AND I LISTEN STILL ALMOST EVERY SINGLE DAY OF MY LIFE !! IT IS WHAT I CALL THE MUSIC OF MY LIFE, ALL MY LIFE. FREDDIE MERCURYs VOICE IS ALMOST HARD TO DESCRIBE... MANY VOICE EXPERTS VERIFIED HIS 4 OCTAVE VOICE. I CAN SEE HOW HIS VOICE TRULY IMPRESSES YOU SO THANK YOU FOR YOUR COMMENTS. I HAVENT FOUND YOU UNTIL YESTERDAY & SUBSCRIBED IMMEDIATELY DUE TO YOUR OBVIOUS HONESTY & APPRECIATION FOR THE MUSIC I HAVE LOVED ALL MY LIFE. . I HAVENT YET HEARD ALL YOUR REACTIONS TO QUEEN SO I WONDER IF YOU KNOW JUST A FEW YEARS BEFORE FREDDIE MERCURY DIED AT THE YOUNG AGE OF 45, , HE WROTE MUSIC FOR HIS WORLDWIDE PERFORMANCES OF OPERA WITH THE MOST FAMOUS OPERA DIVA MONTSERRATE CABALLE. HE NOT ONLY PERFORMED THESE OPERA SONGS, HE WROTE THE MUSIC AND LYRICS TO EACH SONG. IF YOU WANT TO SEE HIS LIVE CONCERT JUST GO WITH YTUBE & SEARCH "LIVE OPERA BARCELONA FREDDIE MERCURY & MONTSERRATE CABALLE ", YOU WILL BE ASTOUNDED !! LOVE TO YOU,
John played all instruments here, except electric piano, which was played by Freddie…Freddie also sang the whole song in falsetto..❤Roger & Brian refused to play on this..not their style, I guess❤John &Freddie were great collaborators..LOVE THIS ONE❤Thanks for the great reaction❤
but I have read on Freddie on electric piano that he refuse to play keyboard Jonh Deacon played all instruments in this song including the keyboard due to Freddie refused as well as told John to play it himself
Thanks, kid.. this is, indeed, very unique for Queen -- it was actually done by just Freddie and bassist John Deacon.. Roger and Brian wanted nothing to do with it (lol).. and it's the only song that Freddie sings ENTIRELY in falsetto... you probably love it or hate it... appreciate your reaction!
"Cool Cat" was written by bassist John Deacon and Freddie Mercury. This song is not only a Queen rarity as far as genre is concerned, It’s also one of few in which Freddie Mercury sings entirely in falsetto, and one of few to feature no contributions from either drummer Roger Taylor or guitarist Brian May, both of whom despised the album’s new sound as a whole, with “Cool Cat” being one of the most blatant examples.
This is totally a song for putting the moves on lady. I love Queen and never heard this one before! But I like a cool cat and you are one for finding this one ✌🏼 PS you were referring to a falsetto voice.
Freddie is one Cool Cat!🔥🙋🏽♀️✌🏾
Wow Freddie can sing anything. I love it 🩷
Cool Cat is one of my favourites, I love the groovy sound, Freddie's falsetto and super power vibrato is amazing.
Every Queen song is different, that’s what made them so successful
This song is fire 🔥

Suggestion: Bonnie Raitt's version of Runaway. It's what launched her career. (Posting a 2nd time to boost the algorithm 🤭)
The vocal line always reminds me of a saxophone.
This is my fav Qeen song
