Probably an unpopular opinion, but I think Daisy actually was a better casting choice than Anna for the part of the Diva. I know the show made us sympathize with Anna and everyone hated Daisy because of how she got the part, but she’s actually really good and I just don’t really see Anna in that role. It felt like a stretch. She was fine for it when it was in a small theater, but they needed someone more formidable who could hold her own against Karen for the bigger broadway show.
