Ross Edwards - Ulpirra (excerpt) for Ab piccolo clarinet

Ross Edwards originally wrote this piece for recorder and it has enjoyed subsequent transcriptions for flute, oboe, clarinet, saxophone and bassoon. "Ulpirra" is a word for "flute" or "pipe" originating from the indigenous Australian langauge Dharuk, one of the many languages spoken in the region now known as Sydney. This version is played on a piccolo clarinet in A-flat, which is one of the highest clarinets ever made.
