Yeah my friend is on season 1 and she is the most stubborn person I've ever met and refuses to believe she'll ever like him in the slightest. But then again she said the exact same thing about Lydia from Teen Wolf and Caroline from vampire diaries and they're both her favourite characters so I wouldnt be surprised if she changes her mind

I fully fell in love with his character when he chose to be with emori in their last moments. It was so sad but so touching. It was hard to watch. He was better after emori. He really grew into a man.
