I started one last night! Indeed perfect timing! Returning to nightblade, wanting to make it my new main from a templar. I dont have high isle so I'll probably aim for ring of the pale order for now.

Funny thing, I made mine imperial as well! When I saw this new video in my feed, I audibly went, "Oh yeah!!" Then I looked around to see if anyone at work heard me, but then I figured who cares, I'll be excited if i want to!

Made this build before U35. Doesn't hit as hard as it used to (Oaken Soul nerf) but it is still to this day my favorite DPS build. It's the perfect mix of DPS and Tankiness. If you're watching this video and considering it, it is definitely still viable for all PvE content. Thanks again HTM and happy gaming everyone.

How much of a dps drop did it suffer?
@@Goji_Bear not enough to make the build completely useless, but I'm pretty sure there are better dps versions out there, just not many 1 bar. I'm still going to use it because I still really enjoy it, despite the above.

I love the prayer set, I use it on my templar. My nightblade is my main and I use your older setup of medusa/hexos with oakensoul. It's a sweet spot for me between defense and offense

Hey man, love the videos keep up the amazing work! Could you maybe mention the DPS somewhere at the end, Me and I'm sure most people care more about satisfaction and just clearing content in a fun way, but knowing the roughly DPS on certain Set combination would be a really nice extra!

I've been using hexos with pillar of nirn. Use swallow soul as a skill for amazing tankiness. I use food that buffs both stamina and Magika.

Crazy how I actually feel like a night blade with this set up...
All I can add is WOW (Salient). Mine is not all Legendary (I have yellow for Helm, Chest, legs, and 2H Maul; the rest purple). Thank you (and this is my second one bar w/Oakensoul ring).

Hey HTM! I have similar build, just not prayer but parabellum, which is more stamina based ;)
By The Way they have buffed.This build with relentless focus Stating when slotted on your bar . so you don't even have to activate it and increased the weapon and spell damage to 80 instead of 60 but they did overhaul the ability so maybe a update is in order but its still fantastic

I've had a nightblade I haven't touched in 5 years. Used to be my main. I'll probably run this build, but I'ma wait for the patch notes. I'll run it so long as ZoS isn't destroying the Oakensoul Ring with their sledgehammer nerfs. I think the PTS goes up monday, so I'll wait till then.
They don't nerf mythics this soon. You're safe for a few patches. This is a business and they use slightly overturned items to sell the expansion.

Hi Hack, do you have a one blade for a mag blade? I just came back from the game after dropping Blackwood, and I’m interested in using the oakensoul ring.
Wanted to ask you, hack, (and anyone else with input/advice), my offbrand controller with 2 extra buttons on the bottom is getting unusable (left analog stick doesn't recognize movement, my poor toon studders as they try to walk/sprint).
Any recommendations for a replacement controller, only had this one several months before it broke (I'm pretty gentle with them, too.)

Hey Hack, I love this build. I've been doing random vet dungeons with no fear. I can't wait to take it into Maelstrom Arena. The damage is pretty good. I don't run a damage meter, but I see a lot of high crits. Do you think it'll change much with Update 35? I know Oakensoul is getting nerfed, but I don't think that will kill the build.
I think some changes are possible but we still need to see where update 35 lands
With the new incoming nerf to the mythic is it still viable?

if not imperial, would orc or redguard be better ?
My guess would be that they'll at least probably remove courage, heroism and berserk from oakensoul. That'll bring it down considerably, but still leave it fairly desirable to a lot of people.
Although if they wanted to keep it strong in PvE, whilst toning it down in PvP, maybe they could swap major berserk for one of the slayer buffs? 🤔

Maelstrom maul, unleash terror, zoal the ever wakefull and oakensoul
To be fair, I think I’ve broken every class in ESO with the Oakensoul ring (at my skill level) for both PvE and PvP lol. I’ve only reconstructed it 15 times (various traits) lmao.
are you able to use a sword for this build and still be successful? i don't like the aesthetics of maces and much prefer swords, alternatively if you can like "hide" weapons and armor that would work too. never played this game so im not sure what is available
You can transmog a mace into a sword using an outfit station.

Great build hack. I've wondering if is possible to combine both a mythic item and a monster set into the same build. The only thing I thought of is using one 5pc set, pair it with 3pc agility/willlpower the monster set and the mythic rings for example and finally 1 trainee. Do you think this can work well?
Yes you can replace prayer shawl with agility plus a monster set of your choice. Iceheart is good if you like a more defensive playstyle. Or maybe Selene for more offense

Dude this build is SOO good! really hope the nerf doesn't effect it too much and it's still viable after. Hack literally has me soloing world bosses in High Isle better than *some* cp 1000+ and I'm only cp 750. Swear I ain't caping, the damage on this build is so solid but the difference is those shields. They withstand any beating! Higher players might pump out more damage than me but *some* of them are so squishy they can't take a hit. And I'm there in the trenches. Hacking Away 😉
Looks like it will be still pretty viable bcs Oaken is pretty much nerfed only in PvP and not as much in PvE. But if Oaken will give you Empower then maybe it will be good to swap Ambush for something like Stampede.

I'm not investing in the Oakensoul ring until I see what Zos is going to do to it. If they axe weaving I may not have a choice.
Who am I kidding. After awhile I'm going to be reduced to fishing, farming, decorating and selling full time because the game will be nerfed and and buffed in all the wrong places. 😭

Been playing for week and been buying everything 🙆🏻♂️ i noticed Nightblade is strong. I also noticed Warden sucks ass and Imperials are very fast. I settled on Nightblade and Imperial. My other Character is a Breton with Necro.
Templar and Sorcer are strong too.

If I'm not wrong, all of his builds are created on the test server. So he has access to all sets at max quality without having to farm for weeks.

This is a garbage build for Oakensoul. I literally spent almost zero time making my blade with Oakensoul and I'm hitting 6300 weap damage pre buff, 18k pen, 30% crit chance, and 52% crit damage. My health is 25k and my armor is 15k, so I'm not an easy kill either. I destroy all in pvp with exception to pure tanks, and it's works well pve. You might want or update this or do a different build.
so whats the build youre using then fool?
You always say tons of damage, but you never show dps... and I think ur builds dont do much more than 70k

Opens video, see huge amount of buffs above the bar, yeap oakensoul build again which is useless if you dont have access to the dlc. turns off the video.
