Before I started the business I’ve been driving for a lot of app delivery services (Uber Eats, Walmart, Amazon Flex, etc…) Which I used my social security number to drive for. My question is: Now that I have the business. Should I change from using my social security number to my business name within these apps? Thank You 🙏🏾
The best thing to do is you need to get your own EIN number through IRS since the business is yours
Get an LLC but if you're the only one working it's basically your social anyway
You are the sole proprietor until you have two people they will stop using your social and start using your business EIN number
No, always you your EIN. If you don’t have one create an llc through your Secretary of State for around $150. Then get your EIN for free through the IRS. Hope that helps!
Depending on your state taxes. EIN are the best move but like your social. Building credit (if you believe in that) credit rich. And cash stern is a lesson that helps 🤷🏾♂️ my 2 cents

Having A van especially if it’s older isn’t enough to get a direct contract so you’ll have to partner with a local 3PL as a subcontractor
