@@Richard-Bullock Lol, there was a girl I recalled from the old Montgomery Ward catalogs, whom actually ended up being in one of those teenage sex comedy movies, around the time the Mannequin movies came out, and I thought for the longest she might be that same girl. I did find that girl in the catalogs again from a website, and while she is fairly close to Lysette, I'm pretty sure there's enough difference there for it not to be her. I've been looking for ages to find out what movie that girl was in though. I saw that movie she was in when it was released in the eighties, and just completely forgot which movie it was. No title rings a bell, and I keep thinking it was one of the Mannequin movies (but it's not), and she was the main female focus of the movie too. It's too bad I can't at least recall who the main male star was, because he was definitely pretty popular at the time, because then I could narrow down all his movies on IMDB and find her that way. I don't think she was ever in another movie, oddly. BTW, here's the catalog page. It's the fourth picture down, and she's the first and third picture, and maybe the fourth on those pages labelled 106 and 107. I would appreciate if somebody knows the movie she starred in, or her name if failing that: Roller-Disco Jackets & Polyester Slacks: The 1980 Montgomery Ward Catalog - Flashbak Okay, the link don't work, but it can be accessed by copying the entire phrase and putting it into google and clicking on the top result.

He’s definitely been around!
Bryan Adams was born Nov. 1959 so he was 9 during the Summer of '69. In interviews he said for him it was probably more like the "summer of '77 or '78," but "69" sounded better.

He wrote “Diana” about the Princess. “What you doing with a guy like him?”.
Great song.
I have the video to that on VHS!
He played "Diana" when Prince Charles and Princess Diana attended a concert in Vancouver in the 80s to celebrate Canada Day on July 1st (which was also her birthday)
@@j.d.6915 VHS lol !
"Run To You" is another great song by Bryan Adams. The video has the same girl that is shown here in the car at the end.
And the same girl is in the video to "Heaven" as well.
@@Richard-Bullock Lysette Anthony is the girl. She did some acting gigs too.
@@charles2241 Thank you for that. That makes a lot of sense to me now. I always thought she looked familiar, and not just from Bryan Adams music videos.
I would appreciate if somebody knows the movie she starred in, or her name if failing that:

Absolutely LOVE Bryan Adams! His rasp, his lyrics, the band.... excellency! 💗💗💗
This guy was one of the biggest artists in the world, hugely respected, and turning out hit after hit. And he left at the peak of it to go back home to Canada to do some photography.
I was in high school when this song came out. They are one of those songs that remain in your memory forever in your life !!
Another great Canadian talent and real fun to see live.
Little fact: back then, Bryan Adams was nicknamed the "Canadian Boss" (in reference to Springsteen). Adams had several major hits through the 80s and 90s hist biggest probably being this and Run to You.
If you're going down the rabbit hole of Canadian rockers, you also need to check out Tom Cochrane & Red Rider, Gowan and a few more :)
Back in the summer of '85... I distinctly remember this song hitting the radio. Great song and Bryan Adams' best among his many hits, IMO.
So much good stuff by Bryan, including "It's Only Love" with Tina Turner, "Cuts Like a Knife," and "Diana" (a seriously underrated cut).
Brings back so many memories. Where has the time gone? It’s depressing how fast the years go by.
Bryan Adams is absolutely amazing artist he has an amazing voice and I love this song.
Lots of Great Canadian music you still need to check out, you did Rush, BTO, Guess Who...time for some

Jamel, You'll love his “Cuts Like a Knife”, "Straight From The Heart", "Please Forgive Me", "Have You Ever Loved A Woman". 1 Banger, 3 Ballads, all great!
You want to listen to your good old rock n roll, it’s Bryan Adams. Love this dude. To this day... the man creates and just creates. A true artist. xo
Bryan Adams' music is awesome. A very worthy rabbit hole to dive into.
When you said you never heard of him, I almost choked on my hamburger!! He did a duet with Tina Turner, called Its only Love. You'll dig it a lot!!!
Hey Jamel! Please react to his songs “Cuts like a knife “, “Run to you”, and his ballad “Please forgive me.” Beautiful!!! 💚🍀👍✌️
Seeing Bryan Adams open up for the Rolling Stones in the early 90s was epic!
"When your gone" a great song by Bryan Adams 👍👍👍
I was 15 in the summer of 69. During those years everything seems possible. Then life starts to beat you down. You can't recapture those times but memories keep you going. Everyone should have joyful teenage years.
I was 12!
Great song. Love Brian Adams. Thanks Jamel. 👍. Great memories of this song. Happy Saint Patrick's Day from Ireland. 🎶🇮🇪🍀
Happy St. Patrick's Day 🍀🍻😁
Ton of his songs are great! He has that recognizable voice that when he comes on the radio you know who it is.
Jimmy Vallence was co-writer of this song and he was talking about Terrace Bc which where he lived in 1969 and. had his band !! Love this song !!

For an excellent 80's one hit wonder you should check out the Hooters' "And We Danced" and The Tubes "She's A Beauty".
The tubes has a hit talk to you later and I don't want to wait anymore is another.
@@glennthompson1173 #35 and #101 on the Billboard charts are "hits"?
He’s also an outstanding photographer & has published a couple great books. Also has photographed well over 100 big name musicians (M Jackson, Jagger, Winehouse, and on & on!) dozens of magazines for advertising & PR campaigns (GQ, Vogue, Guess, etc), and Queen Elizabeth & other royals. He’s definitely been around!
I've been listening to Bryan Adams since the 80's. Love his music!!
So there was this guy on the local radio here in Montreal. Waiting to win a nice price. The guy actually answers the Summer of 68. I was dying. :)
LOL!
LMAO
LOL oh my gosh...bet he will never forget it now!
Canadian legend!
Bryan Adams was born Nov. 1959 so he was 9 during the Summer of '69.
In interviews he said for him it was probably more like the "summer of '77 or '78," but "69" sounded better.
Bryan Adams performed at Live Aid. Performed with Sting and Rod Stewart. Several #1 hits.
Omg I'm here for it...this my song...love to sing along to this one
Check out his MTV Unplugged album, his vocals are stunning on the track "I'm ready" with Davy Spillane on the Irish pipes.
Absolutely! You might also like "I'll Always Be Right There", " The Only Thing That Looks Good on Me is You", and his versions of "I Can't Stop Loving You" and "Never My Love". He also has a song with " Bonnie Raitt, "Rock Steady" that shows off his guitar skills.
Never heard of Bryan Adams?! My jaw hit the floor. It literally dropped open. I was expecting to hear that you've heard this song but you had so many requests you're just reacting to the video. Well at least you're here now and there's a million more where this came from . . .

We were in Chilcook Charlie’s in Anchorage, AK and Bryan Adams walked in and sat in the corner. The band was playing his songs before he came in and one of the guys I was with won his album for naming the songs they played. Bryan Adams autographed the album for him.
Bryan has a great duet titled Its only Love with Tina Turner from this same album. Worth checking out!!!
I think you'd probably recognise Everything I Do I Do It For You
Was from Robin Hood Prince Of Theives soundtrack and was number 1 in the UK for AGES, be surprised if it wasn't as successful in the States too
It was big here after the movie. I remember as mid teen
He wrote that song in under an hour! Didn't necessarily put a whole lot of thought into it but as Bryan said, it was only meant to be a gushy, romantic ballard without any deep meaning.
Drive in theatre was in my home town, that was a big thing back then, my girlfriend at the time and her friends went to see the filming, home town boy
was that the Aldergrove Drive In ?
Chilliwack early 80s before it was demolished, it was located along hwy 1 across from the McDonald’s north side
