Why are you all complaining about her?
You constantly say you're sick of Miku-like voices, yet when companies come out with Vocaloids that DO sound different, you reject them. Don't deny it- there are plenty of Vocaloids to prove my point. How often is Miki used? Gachapoid? Lily isn't used nearly as much as the other Vocaloids.
People at first compared IA to Miku and Lily and even Len. =_= And yet, she has become one of the most favoured Vocaloids. In the end, every new Vocaloid will sound like some other Vocaloid to us because we look so strictly for any kind of similarity. Why don't you try sitting back and enjoying the song? Don't compare her to other Vocaloids- judge her instead for the sound SHE makes. If you dislike that sound, you are free to leave. I, personally, do like the way she sounds. And so I will support Rana and stand up for her.
Like her or dislike her but enough with your pickiness. It isn't necessary.

She sound better, but slightly like Rin. I guess it would be hard for her to really have her own vocal signature. In every demo of her i can't hear "Rana", a whole new vocaloid, but just a mix of other vocaloids.

She sometimes sounds like Rin the most but then there's Gumi's voice, a little sprinkle of Miku and Luka. Shessh no originality at all. I wish she would have her unique own voice tho (her design also needs improving from the creator) Like the song btw Poly-sensei!

Yeah, I guess you're right. But to me its like, you shouldn't have to buy new vocaloids just to have them sound too close to other ones. Especially since to keep using Rana, you have to stay subscribed to her magazine. Can you kinda see what I mean? Cuz its kind of an inconvenience thing
