    You did a lot in three days! I was in Porto last November and saw all that you did (different approach with a rental car for 5 days of a 14 day regional trip) but your video brought back great memories! Thank you for sharing and safe travels 🙂

      Well, as you know, you can't do it all in 3 days on a first time visit, especially in a large city such as Porto. 😄 But never fear - I live in the Algarve and I'm all over exploring Portugal so I''ll be back in Porto soon. 😉 I lived in LA also, and I know it's an adjustment so I hope you are adjusting well to your new life in Portugal. Bem-vindo a 🇵🇹!

    Another nicely done video! Next time around, check out a day trip to Guimarães! It has a fantastic historical city center. And if you do, check out Restaurante Mumadona. Soooo good!

      @@CORRTravel My wife and I are right behind you! We hope to move there after our daughter graduates from college! I have a different route to residency through citizenship by heritage...but as you probably already know, the wheels of the government move very slowly. hehe My application was filed June 2022. The projection is that they will pick up my application for consideration MAYBE in 2027! No rush though, the kiddo is only starting this fall, so we have 4 years.

      @@victorbehar804 Yes, the Portuguese immigration system is all backed up. I have a "Moving to Portugal" client also moving under the dual citizenship/heritage route, and she applied 2 years ago and is still waiting.
      But I'm sure it will all work out. Seems like you have time anyway. 🙂

      I’m planning a trip to Porto, but my wife won’t be coming. Any tips on how a solo, senior male can successfully interact with locals or other travelers without going there on a tour?

      @@bobbritton7139 Yes, please use this video! :-) I did that trip solo over 50 for 3 days. I have it in downloadable PDF form, as well as a 4 Day Porto downloadable PDF itinerary - both links you can find in the video description. I hope you enjoy one of them.

    Amazing video thanks. Very informative. How was the experience of climbing the 240 steps? Are there stops along the way? Drinking stations? Can a person quit mid way and get a lift? Haha. Or is it a case of once you start climbing you have to finish it?

      It's my pleasure!
      Actually, the steps are not bad. You'll knock them out quickly. And the view is completely worth it!

    hey great video are three nights enough for porto to see everything inside the town?

    • @CORRTravel
      @CORRTravel  Місяць тому

      I'm pleased you liked the video.
      I believe 3 nights is a good amount of time to see the city's highlights. Of course, the more time you have the better in order to see and do more. I also highly recommend getting outside of Porto to see more of Portugal.
      If you are wanting to capture the best of Porto, and outside of Porto, in a short period of time, I have great itineraries for ease of planning:
      3 Days in Porto PDF: www.corrtravel.com/porto-3-day-pdf-itinerary/
      4 Days in Porto PDF: www.corrtravel.com/porto-4-day-itinerary-pdf/
      I hope these help!
