  • Dhammatalk about the last year and final Nibbāna (Nirvāna) of the Buddha by Ajahn Moneyyo.
Recollecting the last year and final Nibbāna can be inspiring for several reasons:
    - We hear the last teachings and encouragement that the Buddha gave us to inspire our Dhamma practice.
    - We see how the Buddha is caring for the Sangha and the teaching that he established.
    - He prepares his disciples for his departure to make sure that the buddhist community and the way of practice that he established can continue after he has passed away.
    - It can be inspiring because you can see how the heart of the Buddha remains unaffected by ageing, sickness and death.
    - It can be inspiring to recollect the ultimate peace of final Nibbāna (Nirvāna) - the complete cessation of birth and death, the stilling of all Sankhārā (conditioned phenomena).
The Dhammatalk gives an overview of the most important events during the last year of the Buddha.
