In Photoshop sometimes the pressure didn't work because the windows ink, you can try to turn it on/off then restart the computer. I use veikk tablet and it works for me. You can look the tutorial how to enable and disable the windows ink on UA-cam
It really is! it's been my main drawing device the past couple months, the textured screen is a huge plus, main downside is the resolution, its 1080p meaning text looks weird on it sometimes, otherwise its a great tablet
I just bought the Bosto X7 (non-touch) 22" for €140 on A-zon. And that was with a 50% off coupon. So it's regular price is €280. Which is still a steal for such a huge pen display. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a nice big screen tablet for cheap.
Quick note to anyone who experiences any driver issues, and are coming from another tablet (especially a different brand) you really need to not only uninstall the previous drivers, but also delete the WinTab file from your computer. This effectively resets and cleans up anything the previous drivers had done, thus helping avoid some issues. It'll be a DLL file, and is found in your Local Drive, for me that's C, then look for the Windows folder, and from there you can do a search at the top right for WinTab. Delete any WinTab dll files that show up, restart your computer, and then follow the provided tablet installation guide. That should prevent a lot of issues that happen when you've had other tablets before.
Wacom has dominated for way too long it’s good that there’s competition. Maybe it will force Wacom to lower their prices and come out with better products.
@@badbot4ever566 nah, wacom is the apple of the drawing tablets, that will never change. unfortunately, the build qualities of alternative brands often are cheaper then wacom's, though overall they work just fine as is.
I'm so happy that a lot of new companies are coming into competition with Wacom with much better features. My uni has Wacom tablets for students to use as well and I've been looking to upgrade to a bigger size w/o going into debt, I have an XP-Pen Artist 12 Pro, so this may be a good bet for me. I also noticed that a lot of tablet companies are getting rid of the eraser-top pens, which really sucks, but at least you can still program the pen buttons or tablet's buttons to erase. 😅
I agree, the more competition the better it is for us consumers, man its GREAT time to get into digital arts, wished these option existed when I first started
Having a xp pen without wheel I can say I d love to have the wheel and buttons. I have them on the xp deco and its super for the brush size, zoom (inner) not so much, mouse is better). But about the eraser, it is not done anymore since the motion to turn a pen is just too much when you can use one of the two buttons on the pen for it. default function on xp pen and it s much faster.
Ive just been using a cheap A30 Veikk ordinary pen tablet, but I really like its feel and pressure-sensitivity. I'll pick up the 2200 in a couple months, seeing your video has got me sold :)
0:10 The illustrator is ASK or known as asuka, when I saw that art on pixiv there wasn't any mention about them doing the art for this tablet brand I hope she knows about it else it would be considered as art theft but since she's a famous illustrator I hope that's not the case
Oh wow, I've never heard them before but their product looks really solid, but I think I still need to do some more research on them, because wow their prices is nuts!
I've used their smaller 12 in pen display before, their product is solid, since their fairly new to the market compared to XP pen or Huion, I think thats why their trying to compete on price
I had used Wacom since the 90s. Then last year my 27QHD died, that was only 3 years old and they said they didn't even service them anymore, not to mention warranty. That was disheartening since it was $3000. So I did research, and XP Pen, Huion at the time were catching up. The hardware has been almost on par, but the drivers finally caught up. So I went with a Huion 24 inch Pro 4k Display for $1200. My Wife replaced her 13 inch Wacom with an Xp Pen. I had a few issues with Huions drivers until their latest released in May, where if I turend the display off I would have to reboot windows if I turned it back on again. Outside of that it's great. The Veikk is nice to see another player come in with affordable products, inc Xencelabs and Gaomon.
Me and my wife just got our daughter this tablet for her 17th birthday and it will be here in a few days I am going to show her your videos and I'm sure she will be contacting you for help and I know she will love you Art think you for you help
I dislike the newer lack of shortcut key tablets but I actually prefer it and I’m trying to find one on Facebook. I honestly really want buttons but as a lefty it’s just a thing that I’d post likely mess with while drawing and that’s not good. I wish there were lefty and righty options for tablets. I at least know that Wacom and huion have the money for it while still profiting.
crazy thing is that in the amazon link for the tablet it was not avaliable, but there was 2 literaly identical displays by 2 different brand names, one fengny and the other wemay, which alongside veikk means 3 different brands selling the exact same tablet. im still completely confused lol
uwahh this looks so good!! this is def a good tablet option considering the price and size sobs i was wondering if there are any issues with the colors that appear on screen! do the colors stay the same or do they get desaturated a bit? ^^
The colors are pretty good, I've made prints of the drawing in this video and it came out great, only downside is the resolution of the display, is 1080p, so some text look a bit blurry on there, but it doesn't seem to affect the drawing experience
Hi. What's your take 4 months later? No technical issues? This device looks like great value for money. Some instinct tells me I should get this as my next pen display
It's been pretty good, check out my latest video to see me drawing on it, it's still my main driver, works pretty flawlessly, I do have to calibrate the pen every now and then but all things good
@@Carritube thanks for the detailed update. the cintiq prices are simply impossible, so i think it's time for a leap of faith. i've had the 16HD nearly 3 years , but i would like something bigger now. it will either be a veikk or an XP pen

Wacom...yeah, "professional" - more like too pricy for what you get! They still price their tablet as if they are the only game in town (they once were when they held the patent for the EMR-Technology which allows passive pens without batteries, but that patent has luckily expired!)...XP-Pen (I myself use an XP-Pen Artist 15.6 Pro!), Huion and others make comparable tablets (especially if you don't want to break the bank or stop eating for a while) and their drivers (at least the XP-Pen ones, I haven't yet owned a Huion device!) are better, too (I used a Wacom Intuos - from the time the Intuos was still the professional line (now everything is intuos and only the intuos pro models are for professionals!) - and those drivers...gah! Not so great!)
