@@finnabawm9097 Chickens don't fly. This chicken used its momentum to gain altitude and glided to the place where it fell. it was going down and not up, indicating that it did not fly but rather jumped + glided. Because of the jump, it gives the impression that she flew but it was just a jump.
@@Cookieukw Go to school again and learn the difference between gliding and flying. "the chicken used its momentum to gain altitude" lol what are you smoking? It clearly lifted off the ground and maintained its altitude till its destination, for it to be gliding it will have to fall from a higher altitude and continue to lose altitude while accelerating forward till its final destination, what this chicken did was lift itself up, most bird does that, birds don't just flap their wings and fly, you know, unless they are ascending from a higher elevation they either jump first or run a few laps to gain momentum in the case of larger flying birds. This was a powered flight, gliding is not the same as this. It doesn't matter if the bird is just 5 cm or even 1000 ft above ground a powered flight is a powered flight. By your logic every bird would be gliding and not flying. Anyway just google if chicken fly or not, look up expert's opinion, that will help you.

This chicken has to be hanging out with an owl lol. The way it glided and then landed was similar but nevertheless the fact it flew this far and majestically is telling that they are capable
They aren't the best long distance flyers but they do a really good job. I think there is an Indian breed of chicken which can fly longer distances and are able to fly to nearby Islands
Chickens can fly fine, they are just lazy and don't bother most of the time. My neighbor had a whole flock that flew into a tree every night to roost. Just takes getting use to to see them fly.
in south east asian, india & sri lanka..this chicken is common..actually in my country we called it Ayam Hutan..which is if we do simple translate it will be Jungle Chicken..and yes..they can fly..not gliding.. actually This chicken from Gallus Gallus genus..the easy way to recognise it..they have white spot on the cheek.. sorry for my broken english..

she used her legs to push off and glide. she didn't fly

One time I was chasing a chicken and it flew into a house with like 50 chickens, the house was pretty tall.
I think that house might have been a Popeyes restaurant.
You shouldnt have thrown that hotwing
You can see how they would have been pretty strong flyers before we bred them to be bigger and less able to fly.
That was clucking brilliant
This is amazing!!

The last landing part is also amazing if watch it at double speed.
Chicken said "F-You, i'm out!"
When they fly, they just look exactly like how a bird would fly. How often i forget chickens are bird too
