What are you talking about? All of their matches were literally timed. And you say that as if it's a knock on him. It takes skill to get your opponents back to the mat and keep them there. If they can't get him off then that's their problem.
“In this ruleset” AKA, the ruleset that allows me to stall the most and get to over time where I can stall some more and maybe get a cheeky Takedown and win.
Why not challenge Gordon Ryan to a No time limit submission ONLY match.

The fact that his own brother (who seems like a pretty nice kid) hates him says a lot. Again, with all that being said, he's the BJJ GOAT, and I don't see anyone beating Gordon until he decides to call it quits.

Good call out. But, when I think about it, Gordon submitted N-Rod in a few mins just to save energy and advance to the next round in ADCC.
But their last match was a fight pass match and gordon had his own foot broken when going for a heel hook and then was close to getting choked in OT.
He ended up winning on fastest escape. Thats a big change from before.

as much as i would love to see this match the fact remains that Gordon has already subbed nicky once and beaten him twice.
He wants the smoke after having lost his matches to Gordon. As good as he is, he should train a little longer and close that distance to have a chance at beating Gordon. In time Nick is going to be even better. This rivalry is brewing into something really good.

He calls out Gordon for a 10/20-min fight. Because he knows after that he’s dead, and Gordon is only warmed up at this point. Because he’s actually conditioned to go way longer. Quite convenient when you’re the B-side and you’re trying to call the shots in your advantage, it doesn’t work like that..
