Love the early 2000's graphic engine aesthetics of PS2 era reminds me of 'Fighting Force' :D I had some xp with Motion Capture (almost the face of Leon in new RE games :) and now more than ever appreciate the big technological leap of how seriously fluid and accurate movement animations and overall choreography has become in that generation, really set the industry standard for the years to come.

RetroWolf88 is probably the last great UA-cam channel left that I can turn to, without feeling depressed by the title, the agenda of the video ruining the content. I stopped watching most of the big channels now, because they lost their way, however Matt is a breath of fresh air. Thank you for being a light in the dark, Matt. Hope you never change

I agree completely with you, alot of the other channels have let it get to their heads. Especially Riff from PGS, dude turned into an ego maniac and every video is all about himself ( just my opinion)
@oskinogreenbalm I respect your opinion although I will say in person Riff is a SUPER nice guy and very supportive of smaller UA-camrs like myself. I am glad you are enjoying the content and I can assure you that I will never let it get to my head even if the channel gets big. Gotta stay humble!!

Dave Mirra BMX 2 is an absolute must have. Tons and Tons of replayability.
don't forget the soundtrack! that was my first OG xbox game. I've had it on all 3. numerous times. Absolutely love it. I hate the swamp stage though. Other than that. RIP Dave. Absolute legend.

Dark Cloud 2 is amazing and severely underrated. It's such a fun RPG with world building mechanics, and you collect cards/spheres dropped by the enemies and transform into monsters!
I wanna play Dark Cloud 1 first then I'll snag 2!

EOE isnt a must have but its definitely a hidden gem. Same goes for games like the bouncer, oni, Extermination, psi ops, mark of kri, and freedom fighters
But if we talking about must haves on the cheap, gta vice city, midnight club 3 dub edition, black, fight night 2004, killzone, ratchet & clank, and Onimusha

I didn't have many games growing up, but my favorite PS2 game was Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec. I know there are way better games, but I didn't have them, lol.
That's a good one to have!
One PS2 that doesn't get mentioned a lot and can sometimes be found around $20 is Bujingai. Think Shinobi or Ninja Gaiden 3d games.

You could have snagged Gran Turismo 3 for that last $3. I see it at Goodwill all the time. It is a great game though.
At the convention it probably would have been $8 to $10 minimum sadly 😥

Cant believe you havent played Bully. That is the exact kind of game that you would love. (The Xbox 360 version is better though, the Scholarship Edition. It's 10x better)

I wish I could have been there and given a suggestion even though I probably wouldn't have been asked hahaha bought the best game of the Ratchet & Clank series that is actually on the PS2 is Ratchet & Clank Deadlock I think he cannot beat even some of the newer ones minus the new PS5 one which I haven't tried so I can't comment on that one
The PS5 Ratchet is AMAZING
I definitely don't deny that I just haven't played it yet and I kept it sealed until I get the chance to actually play it cuz I don't like opening games that I'm not going to play through mostly cuz I'm worried about people taking the discs out and damaging them I don't live alone you never know what they could be doing hahaha can't wait to watch more of your content
