The thing about Angelina is that she has a keen eye on subtlety. She knows what works and doesn't over do it. Whether it's the make-up, fashion style, hair, public appearances, interviews, she goes for minimalistic approach. Never over the top and outrageous. So, naturally, she's enhanced her face with very subtle changes and hasn't ended up with some unrecognizable look.
No matter what people say about her her, her lips were obviously natural!

She’s created her own look. Unique. It’s very strong with the jaw and cheek bones. The work is good - nature gave her a good start but I don’t think her stunning beauty came into play until she matured, so who knows ... whatever is natural and whatever is not, the end result is very Angelina and is stunning. She’s an icon as far as looks go.
She has a very beautiful face. My husband however says that she’s only really cool & pretty in Hackers and Gone in 60 seconds:)) where she doesn’t look mature and is really young:)) I, of course, have a different opinion:))

She would've never been the beauty she is today if it weren't for the plastic surgery. Her nose, teeth and too plump lips, not to mention her jawline before implants, were not exactly that pleasing to the eye!

This Doctor is absolutely a beautiful soul and the way he is going about discussing these stars and what they've been doing to their faces, is actually very professional and not harsh. I've always thought her more defined features are due to the weight loss (around her hysterctomy & breast removal period) & due to this the bones pop-up more (jaw, cheekbones, collar-bones, etc.). Even her eyes have that hollowness after losing facial volume as well through those years. I think she did her nose, but the rest are just cosmetic non-invasive procedures for maintaining her current/best look. She lost a bit of a volume in her lips too. I wish she gains a bit of weight in order to look fresher and softer. She looks somewhat tired and sad now. :/

I fully support plastic surgery for vanity reasons and I don’t judge anyone who decides to get it, however I’m very excited to see how I look with age. Wisdom comes from age, and I think that’s beautiful
I do not support plastic surgery. And definitely not for vanity. Wait and look how you are aging. It's a normal process.
@@dagmarlong8754 well, it's their body, they can do whatever they want as long as they don't deny it, besides, plastic surgeries aren't only for vanity reasons, they're also for health reasons (fixing facial birth defects/deformities and trauma caused by accident or people)
I am fortunate enough to have a large multigenerational family, and know how my face skin and hair type age with similar bone structure. I would love a smaller nose, and then do everything possible to stay in shape with healthy skin and hair. Aging gracefully is my goal.

Yes, strong jaws, high cheekbones and square chins age very well. My mother has them and she has been mistaken for someone 20 years younger all her life. It's also very, very helpful to stay thin if you have those features. They'll take you through your forties and fifties looking great. And facelifts also look better on people with those features.

She doesn't have high cheekbones, her cheekbones are low. Why? Take a look at her face, see how the cheekbones are much closer to the nose than the eyes. This is an indicator of low cheekbones. People often confuse prominent cheekbones with high cheekbones. If she had high cheekbones the bulge created by the cheekbone would be closer to the eyes and the upper part of the nose.
Plus lower cheekbones tend to produce square faces like Angelina has

No, dude. Look where her cheekbones are the widest. Right below the eyes. Hers are high. Miranda Kerr, otoh, has low cheek bones.
Cheek bones do not determine whether a face is square. That's the jawline. Wide, angular jaws, square. Pointy, narrow jaws, heart, etc.
Her cheeks look "prominent" because she's getting older and her malar fat pads are starting to slip. It's not her cheekbones.
@@ampa4989 due her cheekbones aren't high. If they were they would be closer to the eyes and the upper part of the nose instead of near the bottom part of the nose. Compare her cheekbones to Aishwarya Rai who has high cheekbones and you'll see what I mean. Better yet, compare her cheekbones to that of model Lynne Amelie Rage. In any case Angelina's cheekbones are not high as people think but are actually low but that isn't bad at all
Would love for you to analyze Catherine Deneuve's face as a young woman and older woman. In my view, she is the only living legend whose beauty, in youth, was her own DNA.
She’s way too skinny now. That’s probably why her cheekbones and jawline look so sharp. She is gorgeous for sure.

Don't underestimate make up - contouring can do amazing things. Faces also thin with age, so whatever she's done is subtle.
She's probably done the most subtle changes and yet some people might think she's done alot. I think Halle Berry is another stunning woman who's done very little and nothing extreme because she had beautiful features to begin with and because she went to the right plastic surgeon.
I was wondering why the first answer people jump to is plastic surgery. Contouring does do a lot. Also most of this analysis is done with pics and vids of the person fully made up rather than without makeup to really tell whether it is makeup and camera enhancement or surgery...
yes! people need to remember that back then nobody contoured their noses and cheekbones, nor were fuller brows a thing! and the brow lift thing, sometimes they just draw the brows higher lol
She’s done a wonderful job of maintaining her looks without over doing it. We do know that she’s had plastic surgery done, especially since she’s been very open about the choice she made to remove her natural breast tissue and have breast augmentation to replace it. She’s on record saying that there’s a history of breast cancer in her family and she wanted to mitigate the possibility of going through that. In terms of facial surgery I’d say while it’s noticeable, the results are very natural and she hasn’t crossed that bridge into either the uncanny valley or the obviously fake territory.
Doing Brest surgery for health reasons and doing surgery for beauty reasons are not the same. One is more "socially" admitted and the other is less (even though more and more people people admitt it now) . She is wa never open about doing a noob on their face. Don't make it look like she was really open about it please. Let's be real

@@joannaj.2787 jaw implants are prone to infection and back in her day it isn't widely used. so I disagree. she's always had them but buccal fat removal and major weight loss plus injectables made them moe prominent

When I hear the doctor talk about aging and maintaining that beauty it breaks my heart. Because all many people want to do is stay who they are; who they have been their whole life! And out of nowhere you wake up one day (from sleeping on your side) and discover all these wrinkles & sagging and massive changes you had no idea where happening. For those of us who didn't grow up with cellphones hence not seeing pictures of ourselves on a daily basis, we were simply unaware. It's an uphill battle from there!

You make it sound so tragic. But you have to realize this only happens to pretty women who have depended on their beauty in life. Most people couldn't care less about their looks as they age. I think of myself as above average pretty but never defined myself with looks, and I actually enjoy the character aging brings to one's face. More importantly, I find health goes before looks, so I care infinitely more about that, looks not so much. As long as you are healthy and happy in old age, your looks are ok. And if you are neither happy or healthy, you will mind your looks changing that much more. Best to focus on health I think, and leave surgery alone.

She was blessed with big “doe” eyes and beautiful full lips to begin with, so she didn’t need a lot of work. She’s a beautiful woman, no lie there.
Agree 100% ...& she she does tonnes of charity without fanfare, cares about humanity & adores her children. She also said that if she had her life over she prob. would not have been a movie star (that was her mum's dream) & instead been a humanitarian worker. Very similar to Audrey Hepburn in later life.

She's actually aged ridiculously well, one of those rare people that looks better approaching her senior years than many people do in their youth. She is a rare genetic disorder in that regard, with or without any touchups. The luck of family genetic history if you are born into it.
I think she’s only aged well due to the filler/Botox and some expensive skincare treatments as well as her generally taking food care of her skin she’s always used sunscreen which is a must she seems so thin though I guess it’s because of how little and clean she eats but she still appears healthy and happy
She looked older I’m her 30’s .. she has wrinkles at 30..
I really think she had cheek implants. They are not huge but you really see the difference in how the light hits on the cheeks. They seem to have moved forward and up.

Most women in Hollywood are stars who strive to become skilled actresses, who feel they have to resort to surgery to achieve their goals for fear of falling short, and ending up in the reduced to clear bin.

It is essential to eat healthy, exercise, sleep, have good genes, what not. But it alone is not going to cut it to look really dazzling in your 50-s and 60-s... or even just to maintain it😉
Wait until you have passed your 60s or maybe earlier, it depends. Everything will change which you couldn't have imagined before. It's not only about your face, but your whole body will change.

I've said this for years- as a Baby Angie had full lips and so do her biological children, it is a genetic trait! She may have STARTED the filler trend because she really IS that gorgeous and people wanted to imitate it, but she is an original beauty.

One thing you didnt mention is that her eyes most likely were done. When she was younger she had more rounded eyes. (Mine tend to be more this and i dont like them, so I noticed her were similar.) But later on you notice that her eyes are much more almond shaped, with the outer corners being raised more. A little more cat like. You see a lot less of the white of her eyes in the outer half. So i do believe she had a lateral canthoplasty somewhat early on in her life. And it looks really good.

Honestly some surgeons cant always tell another surgeons work when its so good and skillful. Some are better and some are worse. Anyways, she definitely has had some extremely careful and skilled tweaks done ever since she was young thats why people think she is natural. Her nose has been subtly slimmed down over time and not all at once so as to not cause as much of a stir as it would have had she done everything in one go. It would be much more noticeable. Dont get me wrong she had a great canvas to start with but even angelina doesn't look like angelina without the help of a surgeon. If you see from her before and afters her chin over the years has become enlarged and protrudes way more than ever before even though she was still very skinny however her face still seems to get more "defined" in a way that cant happen on its own. Not only that but her eye shape constantly changes and looks like a whole nother eye shape even with the same signature eye makeup so dont try to say its due to her eye makeup . She went from doe eyed (when she was a kid), to almond shaped (mid 20s-30s) to deep set in her later years (late 30s early 40s). Also wish I could post a photo but in once pic I saw she had a whole chubby ass moon face going on and literally a year later her weight stayed the exact same but her moon face was completely gone, a whole 180 if you will. I dont know about you but that doesn't happen naturally and only if you lose a massive amount of weight (which her weight looked the same it did the year prior to getting buccal fat pad removal) to get the extent of definition she has in her face. Also now her lips over time appear to have shrunk because she used to have naturally huge lips but as she got older they got less plump so I do believe she maintains them and has evened them out with filler in these later years. Anyways to each their own but there's a reason why I see some people with defined faces who I can tell don't have surgery from the ones that do. People say shes naturally beautiful and I am like where? I have yet to see a completely makeup free photo of her she always has either "natural" looking makeup or residual makeup left over which is enough to make you look good. Yes angelina is beautiful but she is still not natural and natural beauty always trumps fake beauty. People (who most likely get work done like she has) are saying its cool she doesnt look over the top but guess what its still not natural. This is made more evident over the years due to the fact that her face looks tighter (most likely due to a face lift),defying the basic laws of gravity and the aging process, Angelina is no exception. I guess looking like a cartoon is the trend for now but people will look back at this era in disgust and cringe just like we do with other eras beauty trends. Look at Adriana Lima she is gorgeous and I doubt she had anything done.

Someone like Meghan Fox. She was recognisable when she was young, even though she didn't have unusual features. I understand she had some skin issues, but really the point is now I think she looks like every other generic woman in Hollywood who's had a lot of work done. I too, think that Angelina Jolie looks strikingly beautiful. Her lips have always been full contrary to her detractors. I don't think she's had jaw surgery or any of that sort apart from the rhinoplasty. What people sometimes don't take into consideration is that, she's very skinny. That alone would make your face look more gaunt like and exacerbate the strong jaw line she's always had. Remember, her mother is french and if you check her pictures, she looks like her.

One thing that a *lot* of people seem to miss, is that she got a lower lip reduction, and also got fillers in her top lip to balance them out. If I remember correctly, it was about the same time she started to change her image from a "femme fatale" to seem more "conservative" and "saint like," which is very interesting from a sociological perspective.
Regarding "maintaining her health," Angelina is a recovering addict who was addicted to heroin, among other things, and is allegedly using methadone as a part of her recovery. She has also suffered from a pretty severe ED for years, though the fillers, etc, hides that pretty well in her face, but her underweight/severely thin body makes it obvious.
With that said, I do think all the cosmetic work (and there has been a LOT) is pretty well done, and that she has been able to both enhance and maintain her beauty over the years. A strikingly beautiful woman. Always has been.

It seemed obvious to me some time after she divorced Billy Bob Thornton (2003) and then made Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005) that she got the nose job. She suddenly became SUPER beautiful. Not sure about all the other stuff, she obviously had a beauty and stunning figure before that.

You can't tell if someone's had plastic surgery just by looking at pictures, especially pictures that were taken years ago. There are so many factors, other than plastic surgery that determine why people look different in one picture from another, especially when you're talking about pictures taken over many years. I can literally tell a huge difference in pictures of myself from one day to the next depending on the lighting, my makeup, and also very importantly, how much water I had to drink that day. Also what time of the day was the picture taken? Was she tired, or well rested? Where moisturizer and makeup applied recently, or 12 hours ago? I believe these factors, and many more, are the main reason celebrities can look so different in one picture than another. Think about this. Most of us do our own makeup, in the same way, everyday. However, celebrities could have a different, top notch, makeup artist doing their makeup for each photo shoot, and we all know what a difference an expert makeup artist can make. Not to mention Photoshop. Don't even get me started on Photoshop.

A person doesn't change completely after plastic surgery. Even with Michael Jackson, you can tell it's him. If you know a person well enough by face, you can tell. Particularly by their eyes and certain facial structure unless that person had a complete overhaul as the Japanese french doll did.
