I freaking LOVE this song. Very under appreciated. Has this amazing mid-70s glam-pop sound and a foreshadowing of disco when you listen closely to the drums and the beat overall. ABBA were and ARE brilliant!
That clip is from the 1976 Bandstand show featuring only ABBA which at that time was watched by more people than the moon landing in '69! Also 'Rock Me' reached No.4 in '76 and was the b-side to "I Do,I Do,I Do,I Do,I Do" which was No.1 for 3 weeks in '75!
Initially this song was entitled "Baby" and Agnetha was the lead vocalist of it (even demo-version was released in 1994), but then it was decided to be sung by Björn.
Just a heads up when you get to the Arrival album please react to the live version from the Australian tour of Why Did It Have To Be Me. Frida is superb one of her best live performances
Wait till you watch their '77 filmed live performance from their tour Down Under!Electric interaction with the hysteric audience. That version is even rockier and better to my ears.
So many of ABBA's early songs are of similar essence, upbeat, happy , crisp , clean , the type of song you listen to then spend the rest of the day humming the tune in you head.. LoL... Gotta love ABBA.. so good!... ☺️
Still has the same abba sound as soon as everyone starts singing. Bjorn has several different voices. When you get to the song Move On. It sounds nothing like you’d expect. This is just another great abba song. Thank you so much for the surprise today. Really really needed it today. Hope whatever time of day it is for you is a great one.

Hey there itsba great song even better is the live performance from abba the movie Australia 1977 tour actually really live. I love it when the boys sing sometimes too. Thanks for another wonderful reaction and I mean an actual real reaction there's so many people who do such generick non genuine ones. Keep em coming!!!
Always love it when we get some male vocals with ABBA... I love the girls singing of course and that is the highlight... but Bjorn (and Benny) could certainly sing and I loved it when they did. This is a great song.
Nice to see an old goodie with ABBA it was great and ABBA had such great musicans around them like Schaffer Wallander, Ledin, Brunkert, Gunnarsson, Maritza Horn and other swedish musicans who became famous after ABBA.
My bro! Told you, you'd love it! It's a good song indeed. About something you said I must say (I guess I already told you once): In fact, me and some of your Chiquititoes subscribed your channel because of the ABBA reactions of you. And you are right when you said and that in some point ABBA's songs reactions will end. Of course they'll do because although you have a lot of ABBA songs to react, one it will end. It doesn't mean the final of this channel or the final of the Chiquititoes community or the final of the GivenToe with his subscribers. There are millions of songs to react, millions of good songs to listen, millions of reacts to record by you and millions of reacts from you to watch by us. So our conection won't end, only if you decide to leave (I don't believe on it because I know you love to do this). So, my bro, we still have many, many years to communicate each other. We love you!
Top 50- Group in story of pop music ( 1958-1990 R.I.P), ABBA with its tons of hits, kings of melody, Kings of "super singles", queens of voice...... "Luxury Music", Like E.L.O, Like Bryan Ferry/Roxy Music, Like Ultravöx, etc.... At a time when music was a way of life....
Really good, even better with the official video, but this is good too...yes,Björn really impresses with his vocals..and not the least in this rocky gold star rock song...raspy,crispy,cool,fresh timeless song...
Someone has already mentioned the similarity with Bjorn's voice to that of Noddy Holder (Slade). Slade are an English Band from Wolverhampton. I think you've played a Slade Reaction video in the past. This song is very typical of the 70's Glam Rock era. Being biased with liking Slade, it's a Hit from me - LOL!
Hey Steven my friend! Yeah he really is simlar to Slade, that was awesome! I did 2 Slade reactions so far. There need to be more Slade in here I think! A hit indeed!
'Tomeone'... 🎸🤘 Yes! 😁. Lite kul att det spelades Abba när tjejerna vunnit fotbollsmatcherna. Är inte intresserad av fotboll men går ju liksom inte missa på nyheterna.
Another one of ABBAs songs that, for some, may be a bit too "joy-joy." As a devoted ABBA fanatic, ABBA can do no wrong and, I to really enjoyed the male lead, it's a nice change. Keep up the great work my friend.
ABBAMAN.... Another hidden gem😊 that I think should have been released as al single back then most albums only released two or three singles per album.i do agree someone should cover this... tommy are u listening?
Was released in Australia as a b side but became a hit in its own right in 1976 peaking at No 2. Abba couldn’t do anything wrong with their popularity in Australia peaking in 76-77. Not one of my favourites but glad you liked it GivenToe. Move On next please GivenToe, love it..
@@clay9185 Move On is at ABBA - The Album. He reacts to ABBA at the moment and after that comes Arrival. So his next reaction will be Intermezzo No. 1.
Certainly a great track. Vocal range is absolutely incredible and spot on for the song. Of course it would not the same with out the girls backing up. All four members are brilliant and talented. This what made them great. Their abilities to perform and sing according. Very brilliantly composed and lovely lyrics, gave meaning and inspiration. Very catchy. Should’ve been a A track and not a B track. Think this would’ve been a good top ten track. Nice to see you speechless almost Giventoe, and yes it will a shame when it comes to an end. 😢 let’s hope that ABBA can do another album soon. Even if it their final album. 😢still be great for at least one more best seller! 😊

Björn was one of the four members in Hootananny Singers. Music by Gunde Johansson. Text by the poet Dan Andersson.
