  • Top 5 Best Neighborhoods To Live In St. Petersburg Florida. If you are moving to St. Petersburg Florida and want to know the best places to live in St. Pete then you must watch this video. The City of St. Petersburg is made up of neighborhoods and districts that each are unique with their own personalities and community vibes. I will dive into each of these communities and let you know what makes them shine, so that when you decide to move to St Petersburg, you will know which area best fits your lifestyle. We will touch on my favorite neighborhoods like the Historic Old Northeast, Historic Kenwood, Snell Isle, Venetian Isle, Shore Acres and of course Downtown St. Pete!
    While the Tampa Bay area is known to many as a great vacation destination, it also serves well as an amazing place to plant your roots and call home. There are tons of things to do, envious weather and of course some of the best beaches in the country right in our backyard. My goal with this video is to show you St. Petersburg on a map so you understand its layout and highlight what in my opinion are the Top 5 best neighborhoods in St. Petersburg. I will exclude the St. Peter Beaches and Boating Communities as well as nearby Suburbs as I will cover those in another video very soon. If you have any questions after watching this video, please reach out to us as we would love to help you with your move to the Tampa Bay area as we are relocation specialists! Wow! St. Petersburg looks like a little brother of Tampa. Not too crazy, but lots to do. The neighborhoods are incredibly beautiful! Snell Isle is gorgeous. St. Pete really does have a lot to offer! You didn't mention drive time to the Gulf beaches. I'm guessing 25 minutes? Great video and tour!

      Thanks for the comment. Looks like I did forget to mention the directions to the beach… 15 minutes downtown to st Pete beach (the don cesar hotel) with no traffic and 25 with traffic sounds about right. I will cover other areas in and around st pete soon, but I had to start with near downtown bc that area is so hot right now 🔥.

      I just moved to downtown st. Pete 2 months ago. Everyone I meet in tampa all tell me when their lease is up they are moving to st pete. The downtown is better than tampas, more walkable more to do.

    I’m partial to the Pinellas Point area. Much more racial and socioeconomic diversity, lots of nature and it has a more “local” feel, not a lot of transplants.

    What would you recommend for a student working at Morton plant hospital for a year. It’s her final internship. And just wondering if St. Petersburg would be better than Clearwater even if there is a drive. I’m been to St. Petersburg and I remember how stunningly beautiful it was. I know your busy but if you get a chance please let me know if you know of any apartments or condos there that would not be too much of a drive to Morton plant. Thank you ! LA

      Which Morton plant there is more than one. I like downtown st Pete for rentals. Clearwater has nice spots too but for someone young I would love the downtown st Pete area if you could find something reasonably priced. I don’t have any specific suggestions as we don’t work with rentals

    • @TampaFloridaLiving
      @TampaFloridaLiving  Рік тому +1

      Unfortunately no I’m sorry. Most realtors don’t in the Tampa Bay Area as most rentals are not listed in the mls and it’s hard to be a solid resource for you. On top of that about a decade ago they stopped truly paying realtors a decent commission so there isn’t much incentive for us to work with them. It’s sad as I would like to be a resource. You can however use our home search on our website as it does have whatever listings are in the mls. Www.tampaflliving.com

    Do you help with people looking to rent?

    • @TampaFloridaLiving
      @TampaFloridaLiving  Рік тому

      Unfortunately no. As a realtor, it’s hard to be a solid resource as most landlords don’t list rentals in a centralized location like the MLS. This is the reason why you won’t find many realtors working with rentals in Tampa.

    Here's the most important thing to know about St. Petersburg: "sea-level rise caused by global warming" is not a liberal myth. The city of St. Petersburg is already wasting taxpayer money by trying to rescue homes in Shore Acres. Homes all over coastal Florida are doomed. Sea-level rise over the next 50 years will flood most of St. Petersburg along with most of coastal Florida. Millions of people who live on or near the beach in Florida will have to flee and let the waters take over their homes unless they can come up with more than a trillion dollars to save them.
