Nice, great job on the prep and taking the time to do it right. Glad someone else out there gives their trailer some love also! Well done.
@@johnmccormick3079 thanks 🤙🏾👊🏾👍🏾
I really like how you have the front bunk set up. That’s a great idea!
Galvanized steel, not aluminum.... You have created a maintenance issue for the future.....
Hello Brother Naheem, from the Georgia the " Dirty South ", I just wanted to say that with your help and vids, I have been able to obtain a 1448 Jon Boat with trailer and convert it into an awesome bass fishing rig, I been with you since your very first build, keep them coming Brother, good job !!
Awe man that's awesome. Appreciate you letting me know. Email me some pics of your setup. Would love to see. Bbfishing.dmv@gmail.com
Thank you sir ! Much appreciated..
Looks awesome
Nice. Thank you. 👍
Totally agree about having the trailer bunks flat. I did the same thing
Yea man.
Good morning sir, I’m a subscriber and I would like to make a suggestion. I used rebuild my bunk boards and got to be quite good at it in my opinion. After rebuilding them for several years I started looking for a better solution. I purchased synthetic bunk boards made from high- density polyethylene plastic and I haven’t looked back. Installed 5 yrs. Ago and they still look like new. Every once in awhile you need to check them for tightness and that’s it.
Thanks for the suggestion. I'll check them out. I've heard they're a good option.
Nice re-hab on the trailer. It looks great. I agree with you about not painting the rims. It looks great. Primer and more than 1 coat of paint, I agree with you. Hopefully you'll get a season or two before you have to do anything. Great video. Thanks for sharing. Tight Lines!!!
I hope so too 🙏
Looks awesome!
👍🏾
Quality work. Well done!
Tx 👊🏾
Nicely done, sir! I love etrailer, good folks there. Im surprised you didn't invest in some bearing buddies with those hubs. Looks awesome!
Thanks man. I've heard mixed reviews o. The bearing buddies. I bought a pair but held off.
Nice looking trailer!!!🔥🔥🔥100% better. What size tires are those?
👍🏾12"
Nice

Looks like galvanized aluminum.........was it galvanized?
Where did you get the front bunk support/stop?
it came with the trailer
What kind of trailer was it? Been looking at used jet ski trailers but I don't think any of them are adjustable.
Its a Yacht trailer. www.yachtclubtrailers.com/
Looks like it came off the assembly floor like that.
Why would you paint a galvanized boat trailer?
That calcification was hot dip galvanize. Lol. Wow. Now its going to rust faster. Should have painted over the galvanize. Galvanized trailers cost more and you took it off. Looks good though it just will rust way faster now. It was good for saltwater but not anymore.
Uhoh you in the dog house with wifey she not pleased...
on the other hand i am... it turned out great. i had to do this last summer. just with the bunks went to west marine already carpeted.
Oh she was not happy lol
hahahha i thought not!!
there's a guy out here who painted his boat orange to match his jeep.!@@BassBrothersFishingDMV
Wow, you took the tires off and everything. Haha very detailed. I’m way lazier than you.
thats a galvanized trailer, not aluminum
hate to nit pick this is a galvanized steel trailer. Aluminum trailers use I beams
That's a lot of rattle can spraying. Need to invest in on of those grip triggers. Saves your index finger!
Omg. My finger was on fire 🔥 lol.
You did a sweet job on that trailer love all your video made my job easier building my jon boat to bass boat keep up the great work my friend
Thanks. Will do
Just a few months had my trailer professionally sandblasted and then painted. My painter was able to lift my boat, 17' 6", off the trailer while it was disassembled, sandblasted, painted and reassembled. Its was $700.
You're finished product looks great and, I like the contrast of the galvanized wheels. Thanks for sharing!
That's an awesome price point. Good deal. 👍🏾
@@BassBrothersFishingDMV I also thought it was a fair price.
Great job , looks very good .
👍🏾
Beautiful job. The one concern I have would be that when you have to remove or adjust any bolt, you'll disturb the paint coat. I've had my galvanized trailer for 20 years now and I've replaced nearly every component in that time - axle, springs, bunks, etc. Still, no denying that it's a very clean, sharp look. Agree 100% on leaving the wheels unpainted.
You're absolutely right. I had to adjust stuff when putting the boat on it abd I'll need to touch up those areas.
Looks fricking AWESOME BRO!!!!!!!!
Thank you Sir
