how would you rate your black experience at LSU? diversity and being around people like me is very important to me if I'm going to be attending a PWI.
It was great in my opinion! There are so many activities and clubs LSU has to make everyone feel inclusive. The diversity is also one of the best I’ve see on a college campus! There’s so many different people from everywhere and from different backgrounds. I think LSU does a great job on including everyone. I feel as if there is something for everyone and I would recommend researching it on there website on Campus Life and Clubs!

Hi! I stayed in Cypress Hall.
Ok so I heard a rumor you have to pay 100$ just to send in your application. Is that true or false? Over all how accommodating is housing?
I don’t remember how much the application was and overall housing was nice. I stayed in residential dorm so they are nice.

Cypress Hall was nice. And Cedar Hall is the newest one and it’s really pretty.
There’s a newer one called Azalea hall :)
how did you move in so early my luv?
Our move in day as freshmen was on August 16th last year. And if I’m not mistaken there are 2 or 3 different days for people to move in with volunteers who help you move in. Of course you could move in later but the volunteers are only there for a couple days. Also with COVID, I’m not sure how it will be this year.

do freshmen have community bathrooms?
Yes There are community bathrooms in traditional dorm rooms. There may be some colleges where you have to share with suite mates like 3 other people. At LSU I stayed in a residential dorm and only had to share a bathroom with my room mate and my 2 suite mates. Hope this helps!
