Love James Roday, big Psych fan here & obviously Mr. Roday's brilliance.✌️
Loved that Roday is back but didn't know the podcast was ending. Easily the most in-depth podcast out there.
I imagine there are reasons that we, the fans and constituents of Mr. Pollak, are not privy to. This is an understandable fact of life. I personally and overwhelmingly enjoyed the video version of his conversations with his guests. As I have stated in another post, the facial expressions, the body language, the one on one interaction that made the conversations so heartfelt and intimate are the things that were unique to the show. It wasn't a 6 to 8 minute interview to plug a movie or book or play or what-have-you, it was a conversation between two friends or personal acquaintances from the business. I would be remiss to not mention the wonderful interjections and comments from Jamie and Samm. I am not the emotional type of person, not by a long shot. There are few things in my life that have caused me to actually reflect on a subject and then write/type it out. This change is one of them. I am medically retired with congestive heart failure. At the time of diagnosis I was at 10% Ejection Fraction, basically on the way out, that was a little over 4 years ago. At the current time I am at 36% EF. This is an improvement but still in the "aw-shit range". A normal healthy person is between 50 and 70 percent. So the point of the medical bio is that I am unable to do much in regard to physical activity, some, but not to the degree I had been accustomed to over the last 60 years. Since the docs said to cool my jets or croak, I turned to the Internet to occupy some of my time. This is where I came upon Mr. Pollak's chat forum. I had seen him in a few films and knew who he was in relation to the movies and had heard his comedy routines and impressions over the years. What I didn't know about him was his seemingly natural ability to conduct an "interview without interviewing" the person at hand. It was nice to watch and listen to the interaction for a little over a hour and then have a nice feeling once it had concluded. I do not get that feeling with the audio version. I tried and it isn't the same obviously. I for one, a voice in the darkness, pleading for a return to the "old" format, would welcome it immensely. Thank you Mr. Pollak for your gift in presenting laughter and some common sense in a world that desperately needs it. PS: The profanity is not a problem with me as having grown up in a garage in NJ I learned early on. It was almost as if the routine Bill Cosby had done about the kids standing at the end of the driveway to learn new words was done at my house. As the tapestry of vulgarities spewed out of the open garage door, filling the air of the neighborhood, I had a front row seat as those same words as they echoed from wall to wall, past the tools on the peg boards and the assorted parts on the workbench into my brain for evermore.

Will miss the show immensely but enjoyed all the episodes thus far 👍🏻🤗
a tip: you can watch movies on Flixzone. Been using it for watching all kinds of movies recently.
