I went nusa penida island from lambomgan...you can do this or you can go from sanur to nusa penida island its took less then one hour time on speed board, for exploring nusa penida island best way is you need to hire a bike n travel cost is not that expensive its totally depending on you.

what will be easiest way to reach lembongan to Penida for six .. is possible to hire a boat @ evening for lembongan to penida .. how much it will be ..
Took me and my girlfriend (both of us aren't adventures or super fit or anything) about 60 minutes to get back up, with loads of resting. One tip; WEAR SHOES. We did it barefoot and hated ourselves for it. We came there wearing flipflops, and in fear or tripping because of the unhandy footwear we took them off at the top and went down. Feet burned and cut because of the hot and sharp rock/cliff. Girlfriend was crying by the time we got down to the beach. Also, do not go down there without money. They sell water there, and you are going to freaking need it. I'd say take at least a bottle of water per person for the trip down, then buy and drink water when you're on the beach, and take AT LEAST one bottle per person for the way back up.

It cost us 50,000 rupiah (3,50 USD) per person to go there. My girlfriend is Indonesian, I guess she got us good deals on everything since they don't see her as a tourist.
I was there last week and there is a change. Alot of rubbish under those trees and lots of tourists even in off peak season. I will be back but something needs to be done about the rubbish there.
Devisai R Yes. Rainy season is not the best time to visit any beach. May - August is the dry season, May - June is the best since we still can see the greenery.

I'm going there in August too! 8-9, planning to cover Lembongan and Ceningan on first day and Penida on the next day

It is very dangerous but worth the effort. Wear shoes and take your time.
