This!! So helpful! We found taking private transfer from airport to hotel to stop for food is only slightly more expensive than taking Mears or similar for our party of 3 and actually saves us $$$ and time instead of using instacart and having to wait for our delivery at hotel. Also, Swan Hotel charges a pick up fee when amazon deliveries non food items! Didn't know about it until item had already been ordered, paid for and at Swan, so lesson learned, check before hand next time!
Port Orleans Riverside charged $6 to accept the instacart order and hold it for us. Not a huge fee, but just another Disney extra charge. I like the idea of having your Uber driver stop at the grocery store on your way to the resort. Just place a curbside pickup order and swing by...
Mistakes would be buying stupid things like a $22 balloon, lol. Been there, done that. Never again, especially since the kids don't play with it, and it ends up hitting you in the face when you have it tied to the stroller. Bring in your own water bottles and snacks, even sandwiches for lunch. It saves a lot of money.
The time thing is a BIG one. . . especially when visiting major vacation destinations or places that are just crowded in general. Between the traffic and the crowds in those places you might find yourself needing to go, nothing is as "quick" or "close" as it might seem. Before you know it BAM half the day is gone, which is never a fun realization. . . 😳 Thanks for adding this to the discussion! Such a great point! 😄
@@marcsarfati3291 how much? i haven't done it in a couple of years. the last time i did it, it was normal practice, and it wasn't charged. i know that at least some of the nearby hotels don't charge.
We travel from Canada. I don't wear my boots (which makes getting in and out of the local airport fun), and I pack a rain slicker and a hoodie for layers. I've never had to wear both simultaneously in Florida, but I have been thrilled to have both at different times. I also know I will buy a few T-shirts, so I factor that into my budgeting.
Nice! We absolutely LOVE the Vineland Premium Outlets and the ones on I-Drive are pretty good too. . . it's a little more out of the way for us though. It can be a little crowded depending on when you visit, but man the deals are just too good! 😉 Walking up the way is a great option too, whever you're headed! Lots of great dining options in that area.

Time-since each day on vacation is already a financial investment- factors into the way I weigh options while traveling. Energy and stress too!

Yes! That's the way to do it!
How about visiting another pavilion?
I always plan a trip to the vineland outlet then walk up the road to do a cheesecake factory stop and a target drink/snack shop
