This is FANTASTICALLY random and I love this choice to film. I haven't been in one of these these for probably 20 years haha. A friend of mine used to own one (terrible driver at the time lol), it was never a great car but at least it was interesting and made some v6 noises. 😂
wow. these videos are very nice looking and make me feel like im actually driving that car. its making me start to think what my first car will be. keep up the good work.
I remember wanting one of these as my first car so bad. Unfortunately, these things held up like cheese in the sun so by 2009 when I finally got my license any that were still drivable were in pretty ugly shape. Wound up getting a '97 Maxima and I'm glad I did because that thing still drives as smooth as butter.
Nice car. I almost bought one if these as a replacement for a ‘93 Mazda MX6. I was a bit underwhelmed though with the performance and the cheapness of it. In the end a scraped up a few more shekels to buy a 2000 Golf GTI VR6, which I still have.
O meu Mercury cougar também está assim, já troquei muitas bombas mas infelizmente não pega. Tem boa corrente nas velas, a bomba de Gasolina tem uma boa pressão mas infelizmente não está pegar.
I have the sister car ford contour, was a big bbtc fans back then. here is me running it on a track day. Love the engine noise. Cheers ua-cam.com/video/jpFgEaBXL1w/v-deo.html
Impressive to see an auto Cougar that hasn't grenaded its transmission yet. Or the engine. Or the subframe. Or the... well, you get the picture. Shame they never got the 3.0 Duratec, would've made this thing somewhat more interesting.

Wow was not expecting this. My grandfather actually had one of these back in the day in bright red. Cool car.

$3500 for this, in today's market, is a pretty good deal.
That's about how much I paid for mine last year

Have one and let me say that little V6 meows😂
The exterior reminds me so much of a 2011 elantra limited.
I still have mines. 164K miles. It needs a fuel injector now. I drive it to and from work.
I always wanted one of these in orange! 😄
Damn, whats next? Hyundai Tiburon? Ford Probe?
Someone took really good care of this. Minus the claw marks on the airbag cover lol
This was my first car $2500 on craigslist.
these kinda look like those mistubishi eclipses
With a V6
Is it actually sporty to drive? Seems quieter than I expected inside.
Seen one for sale for under 2k and under 200k mi. Would yall recommend it?
I used to have one of those but the manual
Also I will be quite(!) disappointed if I don't see an official Topher video on this one haha. (but seriously, I'll watch it)
The Mustang’s Twin Cousin!
Nice
Wow.
Where did you find one that still runs?
ah, my first car
In Europe that car was made produced and sold by Ford.

I don’t see these anymore.
I do.
I see one everyday in my driveway lmfao
Always thought these looked cool. They didn't seem to be around very long.
Edit: man that thing is loud af inside. Maybe that's why.
It’s a sports coupe. Not supposed to be quiet. They were around long because the car was produced for only 4 years and didn’t sell very well.

To think that the 1970s Cougar were so much better to drive and to experience and then they come up with this in the modern age. Unbelievable...

The 3.0 Duratec is a common swap among this platform. They go well!
I had the 2,5 V6 in my 2005 Mondeo here in Europe. Nice and smooth engine but not exactly a very sporty and aggressive engine 😉😉
