Most people don't like to eat raw gooseberries (the sour fruit you ate ). We either pickle it using😌chilli, vinegar etc or dip it in honey for a week or so and then eat it

Gooseberries are the best source of Vitamins. They are a rich source of vitamin C. They also contain vitamins A, B, and K, as well as antioxidants, organic acids, and mineral salts. Gooseberries contain moderate levels of calcium, copper, phosphorus, manganese, potassium, and magnesium. If we boil it in water the vitamins will be lost especially Vitamin C and A. So consuming it raw is good.

😂 that is not clickbait, if you notice it says "shocking treatment I received in Munnar" I wrote that because it evokes a sense of you wanting to watch, of you wanting to see how was he treated. Then when you watch you then see ohh he was treated very beautiful with amazing hospitality. That's what shocked him. If I had just wrote "Amazing treatment in Munnar" it will too boring for you to click and watch. That's the math of UA-cam 😂

hindi is not our language. In Kerala, we speak malayalam and english. And you can say amount in english to the shopekeepers, they understand well

One thing to be noted is registered shops in Kerala do not entertain bargaining. It is not in our culture.
Bargaining is a thing in other Indian states where most shops in busy markets are temporarily set up.
In Kerala, recently some makeshift/unofficially functioning shops sprung up in some touristy places by immigrants from other states, they might entertain bargaining.

Actually , that's gooseberry .. it's sour , we use it make pickles ..and if you wanna eat it raw , eat it with salt.. dip it in a bit of salt and chilli powder its good

That fruit is called amla. Its a miracle fruit for health. You eat it for health, not taste. If you put salt on it, it would be better to eat.

@@macmadzimayeah its true 😊 because gooseberry contains a lot of alkaloids making it bitter and the organic acid makes it sour. But after you drink water it will wash out all the alkaloids thus you feel sweet in your mouth.
