The bonus ranger, the one you referred to as UNC are the Powder Blues. Or at least that's what I've always known them to be. I'd probably go with the Seattle colorway.
I've been hooping in my Cement 10s for a year now and very comfortable and well cushioned. The palm of the foot on the shoe has great support and it always feels like your elevating when you walk and jump. The traction is so so at times but overall great feel all around. The cushioning all around supports when you cut or change lanes.
Love the 10s for playing ball in or wearing casually. Very underrated. Glad to see this colorway finally re-release. Always wanted a pair but could justify spending $$$ on the reseller market. Bring back our Sonics!

You can stop or reduce the squeaking by tossing some baby powder on the insole, it fills the air pockets with powder. If that doesn't work then you need to remove the insole carefully (as it's glued on), toss the baby powder then put the insole back in. This was a known issue with the first retro in 2005 - still have my 'Steel' pair from then.
@@prosperandgamble I would NOT use WD-40, however you may literally have to dump a fair bit of baby powder in the shoe to really get into the air pockets and wear white socks for a few days. Honestly there should be no real need for the customer to do this if the sneakers were made correctly in the first place. 🤷

Just bought this pair on sale specifically to hoop in. I normally wear a 13 for all of my Jordans and Nikes, but in store they only had a 12 and they fit perfectly. So, unlike other Jordan retro models, I would recommend going down half size or even a full size down (like me) if you want to ball in 10s. Love these shoes and so happy that I got a deal on them. Have played in them twice and they are breaking in perfectly. Super comfy to hoop in. Definitely recommend to all my Jordan fans and hoopers!

Still have my white/old royal 10’s, stiff toe box but after years of breaking them in it’s a great shoe to hoop in! My go to’s when I ball outdoors and as a guy that cuts a lot for spot up shots can vouch that the traction is great and the cushion is just enough to stay on your toes on D. Great review nightwing!

So the Carolina 9 and 10 came out first when he retired then the other colors followed . The Sacramento and Seattle are my favorite . I love the 10s comfortable and it’s just a straight up shoe no gimmicks.
10’s are more of a winter shoe...they are hella comfortable but stuffy it doesn’t breath well...as for Playing in Them they are Nice 👍 I had the originals with the toe cap when they first came out... I thought it was kool...I lived In Chicago in the 90’s next to Urkle✌️

Mine squeaked too!! The right shoe. For the entire 10+ years (retro) I had it until the entire sole came apart so now I have to glue it back. I thought it was just me. 😆
I believe the originals had that weird Cosby sweater looking size tag in the front. Also, it looks like they fixed the back pull tab being stitched on to make a loop instead of it just hanging downward. I was a little disappointed in the Shadow 10s being like that. 10s are a great shoe to hoop in. Mrs Nightwing may want to throw a little baby powder under the sole to help the squeaking. Just my .02 cents. Love the channel!

When I used this to play I scored points during my game it just has a perfect on court feel to play ok a wide footer too! Very nice jordan 10!

I'm ol skool...i balled wit the ones with the toe cap. The cap helped in not putting a nasty crease in the front. Overall it was a fun ride!

If your tens squeak, you can just put baby powder under the insole and it will fix it. Might take some time depending on how old it is.
