We were so scared for her but glad she was okay. There were so many kids running around the steep steps! 😬

Downtown is more like oldtown, thats why its all old buildings that look similar. For more modern side of the city go to boulevard/ abdali area

Great tip! We did see more modern buildings driving through one part of town, that must have been it! Is it more a business district or just newer development in general?

@@nicoleandmico both. Abdali is business area full of towers, malls and hotels. There is a modern business park near al-husien park and the royal car museum, near mecca mall and city mall.
Also worth visiting is the tank museum and Moqabllen park. Medina street is also woth visiting for food and cafes. Dimitri's coffee is a local brand world-class specially coffee.
All those above are worth visiting if you are into modern things or if you have time after doing the incident part.
But in general there are more developed residential parts of Amman specially in west Amman.

Thanks so much for the info! We absolutely loved our visit to Amman and Jordan in general, such a wonderful city and country. The food was excellent so if we make our way back (I know we will one day) then we'll have to check these places out 😁👍

Awe thank you for the offer and we're glad you enjoyed the video! Amman is a pretty awesome city - so vibrant and loud and no shortage of things to look at. Much like NYC maybe? (We were there in August 😋) Another video in Amman is coming out soon so we hope you enjoy that too! 😊

Quick tip, its not ideal to walk down the street for food, for good spots around downtown you must go to hashem restaurant for breakfast (get falafel, musabaha, hummus, freekit batata, fatteh, etc) then go nearby for dessert at habibah (best kunafa in the world, literally), also, al quds in rainbow street has the best falafel sandwich in the world (also literally), for really good bbq go to amman alkubra restaurant, and DO NOT and i repeat DO NOT leave jordan without trying shawarma from al mosali. (Get chicken shawarma sa’ wa ladi’ سق و لدع style)

Absolutely! The land we call Canada now has only been known as Canada for a little over 150 years. It is a young country for sure!
