When Abby told her she was cut, Ava's mom, Jeanette asked how she could justify it and Abby used Ava's hight as a reason. I think dance moms lost so much when they cut Ava, cuz having Ava as a member of ur studio is a privilege cuz she is really talented
Seeing this clip always makes me emotional, it's so true that not being considered "right" for one opportunity doesn't mean you can't fit in elsewhere. I miss my old career ,but I'm very lucky ,I have a wonderful husband and 3 great kids ,believe it or not ! Now I have 5 grandkids, and I went back to school after I recovered mostly! It was harder healing emotionally for me ,I thought my life was over ! I picked myself up and went back to school to be a psychologist! You can do anything when you have GOD AND LOVE IN YOUR LIFE ! All these while, i randomly thought of the late Princess Diana, whose childhood dream was to dance -- specifically being a ballet dancer but she didnt pursue it due to her height. That was such a different generation. More girls should look up (pun not intended) to Ava when it comes to determination and being a go-getter.
